I am always up for a game but I am out of twon every two weeks and will be the 6th. Maybe next time.

As far as the maps go, they have been good. Just keep a good mix of CQ and Rush ie 2 CQ 1 rush 1 CQ then a back to back rush map. One suggestion, insted of team deathmatch, Squad team deathmatch. Might be a little more fun. If you really wanted to get crazy throw a infantry only map in there! (Not talking about metro, the game mode on a map that usually has vehicles

Just remember if you set SQ TDM you can only have 16 players on all maps CQ, rush or SQ TDM. I've thought about setting it's own map rotation though.

This is just an informal challenge meant to be a fun match between friends, nothing too serious. We've had one clan match so far vs. the guys and gals from [QRF] using this same format, and it was a lot of fun. The entire match only took about 2 and half hours. Some of those guys aren't quite as experienced as the [AVS] crew is, so after that match I thought it would be fun to see if you guys were down for a little friendly competition.

Any questions or concerns, please post here and I'll be more than happy to answer...otherwise, looking forward to getting this organized!!

Hey Lowgn, this isn't meant to be any kind of super-competitive match man, just an organized one is all. Once you get into the actual competetive realm, things tend to get more serious and therefore less fun, and that's not what we're going for here. This is just an informal way to try to get 24 people together to have some good times!!

Unfortunately, I am part of the BAT squad for right now. If it works out that they have more than 12 able to play and AVS needs someone to take up a space, I would be more than willing to play.

It's not often when I am comfortable saying that i will play for the other team.

I'm in, but I'm not at all excited about it being rush. I feel like I'll be more of a liability to my team/squad if we play rush so if we have more than 12 people I'd gladly give up my spot to somebody who enjoys rush.

Seriously though I never even thought about squading up. Figured it would be the usual chaos. Would be nice to put some thought into it I guess. I've ran a lot of support lately but can run any kit and be mostly effective depending on the situation. Don't really have a preference who I run with everyone here is really reliable. I just need someone to spawn on so I can go do something stupid!

Strategy... we don't need no stinkin strategy!

I heard that the team chat option works, so at least we don't have to worry about not being able to fit everyone in the party.

So the object of rush is to push them back into their initial spawn area right? So no flags, yes?

I will be on tonight as well.

On another note, have you guys noticed how hard it can be for an attack chopper to destroy a soflam. Actually does anyone know if it is indeed impossible to destroy a soflam now with the attack chopper? Yesterday a guy and myself simply couldn't do it. Firestorm CQ on the roof of B, I mean we were right above it, over and over and over...right next to it...could not destroy it. Hovering 10 ft from it, firing everything we had at it. I finally hopped out and shot it with my M4. Ridiculous.

Oh and of course, just like everything else, tv missiles have changed. They are weaker. I'm of the belief that you can still kill an attack chopper with a one hit, only sometimes it appears that the hit just plain and simply just doesn't register. Nothing. You can now hit B and back out, which probably makes them more attractive (though I could be stupid and this could have been the case all along. But my main gripe here is that they fly different. Something has changed, with the dynamics of flying the damn things, and I don't like it. I found it to be more difficult now, even though at times it seemed to go straight for the target without much help. It seems less touchy, a bad thing. Less controllable.

I've also noticed that all the different choppers seem to handle differently, and just appear different while in first person as the pilot. IDK.

It's all a bit ridiculous that they keep changing the whole dynamics of every aspect of the game. On top of everything else I a lately relearning how to get a kill with all the different class's guns, or just a kill in general. Very frustrating. It's like the games engine has changed or something, idk.

Funny you mention this. I had the same problem last night on the same map. Only they put the soflam on a beam near C. You had to jump off the ledge and land on the beam to get it. My gunner couldnt lock onto it either with his guided missile. It was getting frustrating. A squad mate finally made it up and killed the sniper and his soflam.


Another note on the soflam and CITV, I thought I read that red Lock means either the soflam/CITV and yellow lock is a stinger. I ask because as the pilot I would have a red lock while the gunner shows yellow. Not sure what was what.
