I guarantee the battlefield we play today won't be the same battlefield a month from now. Good and bad thing about it is it constantly evolves, but even with updates I didn't agree with, we found ways to adapt to it. Can't say I had many complaints with the BF3 end product.
I see DICE making changes to the lock on weapons - they'll add time to the Law reload, nerf ranges, etc. Too many engineers running around. Just like how BF3 started...there wasn't much incentive to be anything but an engineer at the beginning, but that all changed. Vehicles will receive their buffs and nerfs as well.
I think there is a ton of promise in this game and more so on next gen. Once we have create a server back and rocking that sweet spot of 48 players, I don't see myself looking back on BF3 other than some nostalgia moments. I just need me some Bazaar/Seine type maps out of one of these packs and I'll be happy.
