Are those difficult to aim with Dubs? Especially when you're running akimbo?

All I want to know is how in the hell was he able to fire those things that fast?!?!? Jessica Christmas!!! It was brutal I tell you... I was both honored and shamed at the same time for being able to participate in the tournament of epic proportions... But my performance has shamed us all...

Gold camo unlocked for SMR and what a PIA that was. FAL is going to be just as brutal for the challenge where you can't use attachments, so, 150 kill with semi-auto is going to be the most time consuming for me.

It sounds like you all had a blast playing with the crew. Too bad for me I missed out but hopefully I can join the next match?

Good games. The hckc match was a little too close for comfort though, it was a tough one.
Probably have a massive advantage in hard point since we have memorized all the locations and the order.
We could have switched the host anytime but by the time I knew you guys were seeing lag someone had rage quit hah.

Haha I knew you'd say that! We were joking about it as the match ended.

But the 7th man didn't get me 46 kills on your asses!

Love those sticks and stones games - Dubs and I had some ridiculous dance sessions that damn near made me piss my pants.

Your anger about getting beat has effected your memory because the game before on Raid we had a guy drop so we basically played half the game with only 5. Interesting that when that game ended no excuses from our side:D.

I think I royally effed myself with tokens. I am at level 55 and I have no more tokens. It's a problem because I haven't unlocked all the weapons so unless I prestige, I won't be able to get Diamond camo. Please tell me there is another way.

Hardpoint was just unfair. The Lizardhouse team should never had agreed to play that. tongue.gif And yes, they NEED to randomize it. It's not very often you come across a team that has the rotation memorized for every map so it's pretty easy to just destroy people in that mode.

btw the dualband scope on the second lmg is super beasty.. i highly reccomend it. its the lmg that has the highest rof and pretty low recoil. on raid i was pulling off some pretty questionable kills with it.

Impressive. So far the only "GOLD" I have is the SCAR and the Stinger Ground to Air launcher thingamajig. I changed my mind and went SWAT 556 rather than the SMR, but mainly just did that for the margin of error increase you get with a 3-round burst, versus semi-auto. I'm gonna eventually try the SMR, but I don't think now was the time.

Anyway, check out this video, it's really technical, but might give us an answer as to why we lose some close quarters gunfights. Maybe it isn't all "lag" related as there is an ADS accuracy delay that I never knew about.

Good video. I never termed it as he did, but it's evident in your sprint-to-ADS moments. The times I can tell when lag is taking me behind the woodshed is when you don't even get to full ADS (assuming you are wanting to do it and not hip firing) or when you hear only 1-2 enemy shots before you die. I've played long enough now to know when I'm getting a decent chance at a gun fight. I know when my aim sucks, when I stop shooting before they're dead and when it's connection advantage/disadvantage. BLOPS2 has been better at evening matches than MW3 for me, so I keep playing. biggrin.gif Even got my 1st Warthog scorestreak last night!

Wow, thanks for sharing! This actually really helps explain some things for me that I just couldn't understand. Of course there are many cases where the kill cam shows me not getting off a shot which is BS but I do run and gun a lot and those of you that have had to hear me bytching in a match "I had shots center mass and no hit markers, wtf!!!!" Makes sense now I guess. I've never run QD with the laser on an AR class so I will try that for sure! I don't agree with this being the same on Blops 1. I did not struggle with that game nearly as much as this one, in fact Bops 1 was probably my high water mark for k/d so maybe it has to do with SOH vs attachments?

THIS.

Getting to where I'm about 80-90% hip fire now in HC-KC. I still find myself reverting back every now and again (especially if the enemy is far away), but best advice I got early on with this game was to use HF.

That's a tough instinct to retrain for me. I HF sometimes but my instinct is to ADS as I have been more effective with that in the past COD titles.

Odd.

Those who played with me in MW3 know I hipfired the PP90 like a madman and was pretty nasty with it. Small maps I used that gun, large maps I used the G36 or Type 95. I always ADS'd with the g36/95, and always hipfired with the PP90.

In this game, I never hipfire at all except in extreme close range and I always use the same gun regardless of map size. None of those guns have that same hipfire accuracy feel to me.

that makes so much sense.. i run and gun alot and always try to ADS because i assumed it was more accurate... but was confused on how my crosshairs were on the target but the bullets weren't hitting.. makes sense..

Don't feel bad, the only thing I can hipfire with any success on is the shotguns, and I use them so infrequently that I doubt I will get any better at it.

I've always preferred the guns in the MW games over Blops. The trophy system is almost useless (except for Dom) in Blops 2 but man did I save some arses with that in MW3... no boom for you! ACR and CM901 FTW!

I tell ya, with how powerful flak and tac mask are in this game, I just don't quite feel the need for the trophy. Does it stop a lightning strike or hellfire? Not that it matters - it takes so damn long to deploy without fast hands.
