Yeah, I am sure it would cost a ton for them to go exclusive. But you're right, if they did it would be a huge win for MS.

My wish list for the new cod:

(These will never EVER happen but it's not going to stop me from hoping)

1. Gun balance. All of the cods have had fairly good gun balance outside one or two 'OP' guns. Bo2 and mw3 threw gun balance out the window. ARs should be ARs, LMGs LMGs, SMGs SMGs, and god damnit the snipers better not be anything but snipers. Make snipers do half damage at close range or when not scoped in and please banish the semi-auto snipers. Also, shotguns should be secondaries.

2. Players should not move like they are a rocket powered Chaz Michael Michaels. This also goes for any perks that bestow similar powers. Please dump stalker or extended stock or whatever as these perks take a lot of the balance and strategy out of the game and reward aggressive players when lag comp is in affect. (I'm a rusher too but this insane mobility is BS)

3. Keep spam out of the game. This goes for all types of spam: grenade spam, tactical grenade spam, grenade launcher spam, semi-auto sniper spam, semi auto or full auto shotgun spam, killstreak spam, equipment spam. Spam is bad.

4. While we're on the subject of equipment spam: take all the stupid camper crutches out of the game pleae. I'm fine with campers but they shouldn't get all these toys to watch their back. Claymores, bouncing Bettie's, shock charges-- dumb. I'm fine with the motion sensor but stop giving noobs free kills.

5. Get rid of c4. Seriously-- this needs to stop.

6. Bring back juggernaught. You heard me.

7. Go back to a 3 perk system. Pick 10 is broken.

Of all the things we like to see change in CoD, we can't neglect putting out good and well designed maps. That is paramount in my opinion. They should really put more thoughts into map designs and allow player to use strategy to get around the map in manner where rusher, snipers, support, etc. will have equal opportunity. Open maps are good for snipers and support, maps with lots of buildings are good for rushers as they can maneuver through them without getting picked off by snipers. Of course, this opens up the potential to have campers in every building but no matter what we do to a game, people who wants to camp or cheat or just play to annoy others, will never change.

Snipers are OP and QS needs to be eliminated.

I am not concerned about all the tactical and lethal grenades because we have Tac Mask , Engineer, Trophy, and Black Hat to counter all that.

Played against some of the Chalupes last night and had a blast!! Of course tha last game was happening and my dogs decided to start boxing and well... Let's say I had to quickly get off to break up a scuffle. Found I am still addicted to trying to cap the flags... Much to my KDR's dismay...rolleyes.gif

Just couldn't help myself. And my team just plain sucked. Still had a blast though!!

I've liked probably 50% of the maps released in each game since MW2. MW2 really didn't have more than a couple maps I hated while every game since has had several. I really have no idea what the appeal is with Hijacked, I think it sucks and the spawns make it suck even worse. It's desig reminds me of a smaller version of Hotel which was cool but not dumbed down like Hijacked. Of the last 2 map packs I like Downhill (favorite), Grind, and Studio. Vertigo is ok but the rest do not play well. Maps are important but I really want to see a focus on hit detection, lag, no more revenge spawn, and faithful camera. We could all take our favorite things from past COD's and create our perfect FrankenCOD but it's nothing if the foundation is jello.

That is why I never play Dom unless I'm partied up with at least 2-3 of my AVS buds. B flag is like the bug zapper light for me biggrin.gif

When I play HCKC solo and start to notice that I die a lot in firefights that was questionable, I have learned that those times, I was the host. I have tested my theory afterwards and sure enough, when I kept dying, I left the lobby and it went to the host migration screen. Another way to test without leaving was to shoot my teammate enough times to kicked kicked but host doesn't get kicked, they get the respawn wait timer and only the host gets that.

I have found that who you party up with/ how matchmaking algorithm lobbies you, based on each current software revision has the biggest effect on the lag. And it really changes throughout the day. I played in a party with lotion,mrs.,lizard,and darth. Once lizard left, I had no issues and was going 40+ kills . Playing in a lobby with just lotion and I was going 30+ kills. Me and just lizard and it was hard to even go even. This is new since the last software revision. Normally partying with lizard was a good thing. His fiber connection made for a good host.



I tried the whole starting a YouTube video right during loading of the specific game and it may have helped me.will continue to trial that. I was using the iPad and it definitely kept me from being host. When it did a migration I started another video and it kept me from catching host. When I forgot to I got host. Same party and lobby. Not scientific but of course nothing regarding this game is ever scientific....biggrin.gif

New patch for Black Ops 2 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 has just been released. This patch is available now for immediate download.

The patch adds a new bonus game mode called ‘Arms Race Team Deathmath’ – Added a limited time game mode to the Bonus Playlist, the Arms Race Team Deathmatch variant awards players 150 score per kill. Let the Scorestreak wars begin.

The patch also adds a new post-match Connection Quality survey which will be shown to a sampling of players to allow Treyarch to assess the online connection quality.

Overkill challenges will now progress if the player is using an alternate select fire mode.
Bots will no longer attempt to capture and destroy the Headquarters from outside of the Alien Set Van or the Castle.
The upper metal plate of a planted Assault Shield now appears in the proper position during a Killcam.
Fix for the Hellstorm Missile not defaulting to the center of the Vertigo map when it flies in.
Equipment, Turrets and Guardians are now destroyed when they are thrown or placed into the lava in some areas on Magma.
Addressed an issue with the Custom and Private Match change team scoreboard not updating in real time when the overlay is on screen.
Addressed a rapid scrolling issue in the Preset Class Menu.
Chopper Hunter Field Specialist challenge updated to Aircraft Hunter with a description that reflects the aircrafts that need to be destroyed to complete the challenge.
Text displayed for “Enemies forfeiting…” increased on Split-Screen to make it more legible.
Fixed an issue with the last player alive defusing the bomb in Search & Destroy not receiving any defuse points.
Resolved an issue with signing in and out while a film in loading in Theater.
The icon to distinguish a Search & Destroy bomb location is now visible to a Codcaster who is spectating the defending team.

Zombies Mob of the Dead Issues Addressed

Addressed an issue reported by the community where players would collide with each other and die while riding the gondola.

Fixed an issue in Grief Mode where the Wolf head would freeze after round 5.
Addressed various zombie pathing issues throughout the map.

That's actually a really good idea. They can get some good survey data, correlate it to metrics, then test changes to see how they affect player opinion.

Happened to me more than once last night. In the past I was able to play this game for hours but lately it is upsetting me so much I get in about 3 games and I am just fed up. I'm just going to start playing private games against the bots there doesn't seem to be any lag there...

I never argue with fools cause from a distance you canÂt tell who is who....

Didn't really notice a difference and saw no area or option to submit a response for connection quality. Or is it all internal and does not require my input?

They said it would be a sampling, so you'll probably only see it occasionally, if ever. Even if they just surveyed 1% of matches/players, it would be a ridiculous amount of data.
