Damn, wish I woulda paid more attention to that. DD seems like a viable option at least the way they worked it with Ghosts. Maybe I'll do that with my kids console so I don't have to worry about them messing up discs all the time wink.gif

I've never bought a dd game before, where are they in the marketplace? I see Ghosts on the home screen but selecting it only takes me to a page with different trailers.

yes in all their wisdom they had no direct link to it for some reason. I had to search for Call of Duty Ghosts to find it. Ghosts didn't bring it up and neither did Call of Duty as a search paramenter.

  • From there you can download additional copies of the 360 version for free, to as many 360 consoles as you desire. BUT.. if it is not your registered console, you must be signed into XBL under the same account that purchased the game.
  • When the XB1 launches, simply sign into XBL with the same account that you used to purchase Ghosts with on the 360. Then proceed to purchase the XB1 version of Ghosts directly from XBL marketplace via download.
  • Because XBL has recorded your purchase history, the XB1 version of the game should only be priced at $10. After purchasing it.. the license rights should work just as they do on the 360 version described above.
  • You will be able to continue playing the 360 version should you wish. There is no need to delete it and it will not deactivate. Both copies will be playable, for the total of $70 ($60 + $10) spent.
  • This is the main reason I wanted to purchase the digital download version of this game. Beside the convenience of never needing to swap a disc between my (3) 360's.. I do not have to trade the physical 360 disc in, for $50 in credit towards purchasing the XB1 disc.
  • I can play either copy of the game, on either system (360 or XB1) without needing to worry about swapping discs, running back and forth to the store or spending more than $70.

I got an even sweeter deal on the purchase price of the game, because I had purchased approximately $300 worth of MS points at a discounted price of 66% off earlier this year. Meaning the dual-license copy of Ghosts only cost me somewhere around $25 smile.gif

Then it is a done deal!!!! I will just download it and break the news about the suspension install on the 65 later this week when it is all done.biggrin.gif I knew I should have taken the day off!!!

I never argue with fools cause from a distance you canÂt tell who is who....

I'm glad I'm at work then. There is nothing more annoying than to have a new game for multiplayer play and you are unable to play it because of issues with the online system.

If anyone is still looking, if you go to the games tab and click on the "new" link, Ghosts is the first game to pop up. You can download from there.

I remember when I purchased it there was something about having to download more content when you start the game. I guess I should have fired up the game before I left for work this morning, but I was in a rush because I needed to go vote first. That is a hefty download for additional content.

Holy crap do you die fast in this game.
Cranked is fun.
Stalker is a must.
SMG's suck.
MSBS is a beast gun.
Getting host migrations, so that means no dedicated servers are up right now?
Lag not really an issue so far. Only had one time where I was hit by curving bullets around corners.
Maps WAY to cluttered with crap. It's a head glichers paradise.

I had been watching an auction on eBay for the FreeFall map code. I was surprised it sold for $17.50. I would have never guessed it would sell for so much.

Yeah, that's pretty much accurate. I like the maps, they've just set them up in a way where the flanking paths and spawns make it almost impossible to keep any sort of order. In game modes like Domination, there's no way to watch every path so you're constantly getting flanked and shot in the back, so it turns into a big game of rotating points.

Not liking the maps. I get shot in the back way too much for my liking. I have been killed a lot seconds after spawning, which drives me insane. I think I may like the maps more once I get to know all of them better. I think I made it up to level 14 or so, which isn't very high for the time I put in today (6 hours). Lets see what happens the rest of the week.

There isn't one for the 360 but there will be one for the Xbox One.

http://oneofswords.com/2013/09/heres-info-on-the-cod-ghosts-digital-editions/

For those who are looking for a little bit more, there’s also the Digital Hardened Edition, which comes with the Season Pass (and its Team Leader pack) and the Hardened Edition’s Insignia Pack, as well as the extra Digital Hardened Pack content (an exclusive in-game patch and playercard). Of course, you won’t get physical things as they can’t be delivered as ones and zeroes, but you will get that extra in-game digital content. You can preorder Digital Hardened on PS3 and PC now, and you will be able to get it on Xbox One and PS4 later this year. (There is no Wii U or Xbox 360 Digital Hardened Edition.)
