Never got around to installing the game (as freeing up enough space seemed too daunting a task... I had to uninstall COD:BO1 just to download the Nuketown 2025 map-pack)... I don't know if I have acclimated to the noise or what... but it seems to be gone. Does the fact that the Xbox is on top of a receiver that is on top of a DVD player that is on top of a wooden table pose any issues in anyone's eyes? Whether it be that I've made a stack of heat that could burn up the Xbox360 (red-ring of death syndrome...) or that it could affect the balance of the Xbox360 (currently laying horizontally, but I know I should have it vertical to provide better cooling, correct?)... input would be appreciated.
P.S.- I really should clear up some hard-drive space and install the game and see what happens... I may not notice the buzzing if it is still there now... but that means I would notice it not buzzing, making it a test worth trying. If nothing else, then it will allow us to troubleshoot the problem if it still there, and make this thread a useful one for other people in the future. I know the current state of "I didn't follow the advice and just learned to live with it..." makes this thread useless.
