Is anyone else thinking of taking apart the headset controller adapter and making a mic output? I will never use mine so I am going to see if it is possible to just make my own adapter. With no official adapter coming until next year I think it is worth a shot. I am thinking it will be 4 wires, 2 each for microphone/earpiece. Planning on running a cable out to give me the 2.5mm jack I need. Anyone have any thoughts on how hard this might be?
edit: I can't be the only one who spends ungodly amounts of money on headphones! I want to use my AKGs with my microphone, not Kinect!
