I am not being an awfulizer here, but this is yet more negative press for Microsoft. YES, I KNOW IT'S NOT A DEAL BREAKER, but still, it's another feature that Sony offers, that Microsoft said they'd offer, and alas they can't do it until 2014. Makes me think it was an afterthought and they need to work hard to do it.
For many people Twitch is not an issue, but for others, like myself, who runs a smaller but rather succesful website in Canada, this was a great way to do some gameplay streaming without any hassles. It's a feature I was looking foward too. Here in Canada we are also getting half the apps that US customers get, and we don't have support for the Xbox Guide yet as there is absolutely NO information regarding what, if any, cable companies and their boxes are being supported. Ugh!!!!
As has been stated in this thread, it seems that both Microsoft and Sony really did rush their consoles to the market. I wonder what would have happened if both of them waited until Feb, Mar or April of 2014. It could have let the current generation run it's course over the holiday seaon, and allowed both consoles to continue to develop better UI and App features that aren't delayed or made existing ones even better.
Oh well, picking up my pre-order on Friday and gonna enjoy some Xbox gaming in my media room for sure.
I don't have alot of posts since I joined AVS Forums in 2004. I mainly read the information in threads as a source of research material. - quoted from The Outcast in April 2007.
