So here are my impressions of setup. First of all all of the cables and cords are very high quality. The system initially did not recognize my wireless network (my 360 did not like it at all). The system update would not download and locked up. After turning everything off and on, it downloaded in 30 minutes. Voice command works very well, and the only problems with it were attributed to operator error. The setup of my cable box (comcast) worked fine. It was then sent to my pioneer elite receiver then to tv, also a pioneer elite. Everything controls perfectly, and there were no problems with 7.1 sound. It did not have my specific receiver on the menu, but I picked one close to it, and it works great. The games take forever to download the required updates. It took Forza about 15 minutes to be able to play. Ryse is taking very long. As to Forza...oh my. I heard somebody comment that it looked to much like Forza 4 on the 360. Have to disagree. It looks and plays amazing. I also think the controllers are a big improvement, and the feedback in the triggers helped while driving. As i was typing this, it notified my that Ryse is ready to play. So far, everything works as advertized, but the reliance on the internet makesa few things take longer than I would like, but it seems like it is due to volume. I was impressed that it recognized and functions well with a niche tv and reciever. My cable box is a pain in the butt to use, but with the one it is easier. So far, very high marks but plan on setup taking a while.
