Anyone having issues with sling and the Audi not coming out of the center channel?

Just noticed tonight that the audio is only coming out of front left channel.. no where else. All other games and apps are working fine

EDIT: Got it working again. Did a look behind the receiver and noticed that R Front had come undone. Apparently someone moved the receiver when cleaning and didn't notice it wiring had come out. Must have happened today since I didn't notice any audio issues until tonight.

I've had the update for over a week, and I personally do not like the changes. It is slightly more cumbersome to look for friends, and having to click on the home icon to actually go home is annoying. I also liked the large window for the active game/app, and now they have made it almost the same size as the pins. I am not sure why they made these changes.

Beam is actually pretty quick to integrate. Start a game, hit the home button, scroll down and select beam and start broadcasting (I wonder if Cortana can automatically start that with voice commands). What would be nice is if you can select watch stream from the friends list when someone is broadcasting, as there is an icon saying they are broadcasting, but I do not know how to do it. That would make Beam even better. They should also allow to watch streams on the Xbox app, but I have not seen the Beam icon on the app yet.

I like the old layout better but I overall like the new dashboard because it's way faster and much less laggy!!

The major difference is Twitch has a 40 second - 1:30 latency. Meaning what you as the viewer sees occurred 40 seconds ago for the streamer. If you're using Twitch merely to let people watch what you're doing, that's fine. But if you want real-time chat or what to share games, it makes Twitch worthless.

If a viewer goes, "how did you execute that move?" As the streamer, you have to figure out which move he was talking about because it happened so long ago.

Or if you're playing a game like Fibbage which is local multiplayer only. With Beam, you can actually play with people across the Internet. My friends and I tried to play it with Twitch and it was impossible because the people watching the stream only had about 5-10 seconds to choose their answer whereas the streamer had the full minute to answer.

Beam says it's near instantaneous so Fibbage could definitely be playable together.

I've never used Beam. Can't wait to try.

As for recording them for presentation later YouTube, I would personally record locally for max quality and performance with a hardware recorder like Hauppauge or Elgato. It's already stressful enough for a PC to stream and game at the same time, let alone record decent quality. Some people use 2 PCs to do a proper broadcast.
