How is this on the console? I have it on PC and have had fun with it.. but I feel like playing with a controller could be an even better experience.

I like the controller better than mouse/KB on this game.

The right stick is dodge/roll, very useful at times. Plus, Blizzard did a great job utilizing the d-pad for the l00t - you can select recent pickups and enable, junk, or discard. And the menus with the controller work about as well as they could for so much items to scroll through.

Using the controller takes a little bit of adjustment coming from the mouse/KB on PC, but even so... recommended.

Awesome, thanks for the very detailed response! I am really glad to find someone with experience with both PC and console. I will add it to my "wishlist" and hopefully pick it up in a bit. Do you have experience with co-op play? I see that it says it supports 4 players. Is it split-screen if you get split up, or is everyone locked to the same screen?

Sadly, I game alone.

I don't believe D3 does split-screen co-op, so I would guess everyone is locked to the same screen? But someone else will need to confirm this.

lol, no worries! I will probably end up gaming alone too, but I might get a friend to play if the co-op experience is good enough. After asking I thought of looking up a gameplay video on youtube and found this:
Which I think confirms your suspicion about being "locked" to the same screen. I think this was a good idea though, because split screen would probably make it really hard to collect items unless you had a very large TV.

I know on the PS4 all players are locked on the same screen no split screen. I figure its the same setup.
