Hardpoint is my favourite gametype, but your pilot/titan loadouts will be defined by what role you're taking during the match and what your play style is like. Add to that the factor of you trying to complete any Gen challenges.
Here are a couple of loudouts I like to roll with, hopefully they'll be helpful!
Pilot loadout I use most of the time (unless I'm trying to Gen and need to use a different weapon)
Gender - female
Gun - R97
Sidearm - RE-45
Anti-titan - Mag Launcher
Ordnance - Satchel
Tier 1 - Enhanced parkour (I always hang when taking a point if possible)
Tier 2 - Deadmans trigger (on offensive it's good to toss these into a space and detonate it before you go in, on defense lay them down and if you die - then they go off anyway)
I only use one Titan loadout for Hardpoint. I've tried many others, but this one works best with my play style.
Chasis - Stryder
Weapon - Chaingun (extended mag) or 40mm depending on how I'm feeling that day
Ordnance - Cluster missile (fantastic to fire into any hardpoint area, since they're all basically killboxes.
Tac - Electric smoke
I use Elec smoke a few ways - to get pilots off my back is one, but I'll also dash forward onto an enemy Titan, hit the smoke, then back away while hitting them with the main weapon. I'll also use it and the cluster missile to box in Titans or make them back off. If you're both fighting on either sides of a structure, I'll dash to one side, hit the smoke, then dash to the other and fire the cluster missile at the feet of the enemy Titan. They can't go left and right anymore, so you kill their ability to dodge - and now you can just lay into them with your main while maintaining your ability to move left/right/forward/back - while they can only go forward or back to avoid damage from the smoke and cluster missile.
