Wondering if i should hold out on getting Tivo, as I am planning on getting the XBox one...

Will it be able to record tv. or should i go ahead get the Tivo now? ...

It hasn't been mentioned thus far so I find it unlikely that it would have DVR capabilities. And the cable companies wouldn't like that anyway. But it's certainly something they might have on the horizon through a software update in a few years. You never know

It would need to have the capability to use a cable card. Which should be possible to have a cable card attachment, but they certainly have not announced anything.

They said that it won't do any sort of TV DVR at launch.
