Hi, I just registered for this forum to remediate an issue I have encountered with my new television. I don't really know the nomenclature of everything so I'm going out on a limb using what I researched. The problem: When I connect my headphones to my television the audio is either too loud, or too low.

Insofar as I know, I will be needing a headphone amp to regulate the volume. My question, however, is the differential in quality between amps. Would an E05 amp perform as well as a "mix amp" at regulating the volume? My confusion is from the mixamp being advertised as including "surround sound" whereas the E05 is a seemingly basic audio output.; one would surely think that there must be a disparity in sound quality when one has surround sound?

BTW, my audio is fixed, not variable, stupid Samsung.

Thanks in advance.
