I'm curious to see what the attach rate is going to be on here for the Xbox One. How many games are you planning on getting at launch and what games?

Currently I have COD: Ghosts (for my Son) and Ryse: Son of Rome (for myself) pre-ordered. I have a birthday in October and I am asking for Dead Rising 3 so that is questionable whether or not I get.

Put me down for 2! (for now) wink.gif

I'll buy the season one pass for KI and I'm also getting Forza. Haven't decided on what platform to get Watchdogs on yet.

I will be downloading all my games on the new system. I know I will be getting COD:Ghosts and Forza for sure. I'm thinking of Battlefield 4 but I never got into the older ones. I know I will get DR3 at a later date and maybe Ryse: Son of Rome depending on Reviews after it comes out.

First day I'm going to get DR3, BF4, and Watchdogs.

Then I'll play them until temptation forces me to put $20 into KI, and to buy Forza. Also, depending on the reviews for AC4, its likely I'll get that.

That should be enough to keep me busy while I PREPARE FOR TITANFALL!

Not to mention that I'll be playing KZ, Planetside, warthunder and Warframe on my PS4 once Christmas rolls around. Going mostly F2P on PS4 for the time being, since I'll be getting all the good multiplats and exclusives digitally on my XB1.

I'm going to be seriously over-saturated with games.

My initial strategy is just to get the damn thing home and plugged in. I'm not going to worry about buying any games right away. I will try to play all the various demos and stuff first, and then maybe rent a game or two (if redbox is renting them right away). I'm going to be reading all the reviews of the multiplat games, to find out which version to get. I might buy NBA 2K14 or Madden 25, but only after I've read a bunch of reviews about both the PS4 and XB1 versions to figure out if there is any significant differences between the two. If Dead Rising 3 gets really good reviews, I might pick that up.

I had planned on getting three games at launch, but now I am thinking about letting my pre-order go and waiting for next year. That is a good chunk of money I can spend on my kids for christmas, plus I am down to gaming two nights a week right now with my work/school schedule. I figure GTA and Diablo will hold me over until early next year. Then I can get one for my birthday in january.

I too will be going all digital downloads this time. I'm planning on at least three: Ryse, Forza and Dead Rising. I am really curious of Watch Dogs but need to see and hear more about it, also Fifa is on my watch list but I tend to get those type of games every other year or so. For my view, things look very bright going forward.

I've recently decided to keep my pre-order, so I'll be getting BF4 for sure. I'm undecided about anything else.

Ryse, Watch Dogs on the day; definitely AC4, possibly DR3 a little later.

I still haven't fully decided which preorder (XB1 or PS4) I'm going to keep, if either. Leaning towards XB1 based on controller preferences and being more embedded in Live (and I'll probably ultimately end up with both anyway as tempting-enough exclusives come out). So no games selected yet, but possibly Ryse and Titanfall.

May also give Dead Rising 3 a try if there's a demo, but I was very disappointed in the first game.

Isn't Titanfall a release in 2014? I forgot about KI being a launch title and with it only being $20 I'll probably end up picking that one up as well. I never needed lots of fighters to choose from so it will be interesting to see how many they end up releasing over the life or episode approach of the game.

Seems pretty cool to me; I'm a sucker for that kind of ancient Roman Empire story. Their initial demos stupidly highlighted QTEs. Have you seen the recent ...

For the life of me, I can't figure out why some people are really hyped on Ryse. A good friend of mine, who isn't super hardcore, is getting an Xbox One and his most wanted game is Ryse. I've tried watching a bunch of videos on the game, and I just don't see the appeal. All I see is a guy that keeps stabbing dudes in the back of their necks with swords. Seems like something I'd be bored with in about 3 or 4 hours.

I wouldn't mind renting Ryse for a two day trial, but actually paying full pop for that game ? I just can't see it. I must be blind, because all of the videos I've watched of it has had me disappointed. The only thing that is impressive is the cut scenes. But if I want to watch a movie, I'd rather just watch the new Star Trek movie on Blu Ray or something. So, the cutscenes might seem really next-gen, but that isn't enough for me to cough up 65 snaps.

Ryse is more about the cinematic experience. Sword combat looks pretty fun, if you have an Xb360, go check out the extended cut viddoc on a big screen TV. It looks absolutely phenomenal.

I'm a first day buyer after watching that. It just looks so good. And combat, in spite of that its a hack-n-slash, looks pretty awesome.

I'm only doing Digital Downloads, but the first four titles I plan to get when I receive i my launch XBOne are
Forza 5
Call of Duty Ghosts
Dead Rising 3 and
Peggle 2

Then I might also get Ryse, Killer Instinct, and Battlefield 4 later this year.

And then I definitely want to get TitanFall and Kinect Sports Rivals when they are released next year.

I will be doing Digital downlaod and am not yet hyped about any of the games on either system. Maybe as we get closer to launch and I clear some of the games in my backlog I will get some motivation. AC would be a buy for me, except I havent finished the last two yet. Ditto with Call of Duty. Ryse does look cool but I need to understand if there is more to the game then what I have seen. Forza is pretty much the only one I have my eye on, that and some free gameplay of KZ to see if it would be worth it to buy more characters.

Forza and BF to start. I will probably get CoD when everyone on my One friends list has it though.... Right now the plan is digital only. I no longer want disks in the house.
