Sadly, no. The PS3 works off bluetooth and isn't compatible with IR remotes. I have the 360 remote and agree with all the other positive comments about it. You can set up a task that will change the TV & receiver to the correct input, than use the controller to turn on the PS3. That's as close as we're gonna get with this combo.

The PS3 already works with a USB to Playstation 2 port adapter and a PS2 IR reciever and remote, but not for all functions. This means that in the future, a third party will be able to offer a USB IR reciever that will control the PS3.

I have a buddy that just bought this today at Amazon.. he spent no more than 60 bucks I believe... in any case, does anyone know of compatibility issues with this remote and DVR's?

I've had my 880 for a little over two months now and I couldn't agree more with firefighter...no problems at all with the LCD screen or battery life.

I don't have a signature...

Both this harmony xbox and the harmony 550 work great with DVRs and have been $60 to $75.
