Did anyone ever play Splashdown on PS2? Or Wave Race on 64 and Gamecube. I loved all of these games but haven't seen a wave runner game in probably 6 or 7 years. With all the improvements they've made in water and body physics, not to mention water graphics, a game like those could really shine on a PS3/360. I wonder if this one of the new sports franchises EA has planned.

WAVE RACE. The second game to be played on my N64. I remember drooling over the water effects.

Wave Race, that takes me back! I'd love a 1080p version for my PS3 :-)

The thing that made WR64, one of the best racing games ever IMO, was not the graphics but the control and physics. It just felt like you were actually on the waves. It did such a great job with this. And yes, with today's graphics and physics you could make an absolutely amazing game. Seems like a no-brainer.

there was one such game on the xbox1,it was actually half decent, but never sold well. Those of us that remember wave race might be very few,and perhaps there is no market for it anymore? I got to say though that multiplayer waverace does sound cool.

On the 360, they have dead or alive 2 and it has wave ider races. It looks fanastic, but is not as good as jetx20. That was the best one. I also want a new ssx type game and hope Shaun White Snowboarding will fill that void. I still miss the ssx3 servers. Why oh why did you shut them down EA?
