My 60GB PS3 won't take the disk into the drive. You can push it in, but it won't pull it in. it's out of warrenty.

Anyone know what I can do to fix this? Do I need to buy an entire drive?

Hopefully not, but it may be their flat rate $149 fee. Maybe it just fixes itself like Kekborg's, but you never know.

I'll make sure it's plugged in when I try this move.

Above is the thread I started when I had the issue. Looks like it was spring time when it hit (as opposed to summer). Like I said, it acted this way for a while (maybe it was longer then a couple of days) and then just started working fine again . After that episode, I have had no problems

Don't trust Kek, he'll tell you one thing and then he'll wait til you turn around and then shoot you in the back of your head with a knife while you're looking!

It was the first thing I thought of. But thanks anyway. Sometimes we miss the obvious.

Not to mention assuming you have the odd knack of being able to shoot someone with a knife.
