IGN just received word from a Hothead Games representative confirming the North American and European release of Braid for PSN. The spokesperson could not, however, comment on when the game will be released, but expect to hear more news in the coming months.

This is one game that I've been really waiting and hoping got ported over to the PlayStation.

Braid is one of the best games I've EVER played. I might actually buy it again on PSN.

Agreed. This is one of the few "must have" games on the 360 that is not on the PS3.

You're not the only one... this has been the one game that I've really wanted and was envious of the 360 guys.

There are a few games like that for me, as well. I'm looking forward to finally getting my Ikargua HD Machine this holiday.

Don't forget Rez HD!

Reminds me, I still have quite a few stray achievements on those games... Maybe sometime around May 2012.

Bought it last night as soon as it came up on the store, and fully completed world 2 before going to bed. It's an amazing game so far. Definately lives up to the hype. If you're like me and sick of every game revolving around "shooting dudes," you owe it to yourself to give Braid a try.

Would a wife who enjoys Pixel junk mosters, ZUMA and other stupid matching games enjoy this game?

My wife enjoyed watching me play Braid, but I don't think she's gonna play on her own. It was the same thing with Ico and SoTC. She'd rather help with puzzles but let me actually control it.

This is my first exposure to the game, and it's very clever. The time-warped homage to Donkey Kong was really neat, and the concept of sacrificing your alternate selves to further your goal is cool, too. Some of the puzzles really break convention and force you to think outside the box. I like it.

Game is amazing. Truly amazing. GF is playing it right now and shes on I think the third part, but you end up going back too. She's been playing for a little over an hour and I can't stop watching. But I have to, because I want to play through it myself too and not ruin it.

Buy this game!

A fantastic game. It's my favorite game of this generation so far, and it's a $15 download only game. I never saw that coming going into this gen.

Just getting into World 5. Visual and audio-wise, it's a real treat, and the puzzles are clever. I don't think it's as big of a deal as it's been made out to be, though, and some of the pretentious writing at the beginning of the level irks me and feels like the creator just sat down with a thesaurus to sound smart.

Maybe what is still to come in the game will change my mind, though.

Braid is mentioned in this Sunday's New York Times Magazine, in an article on indie games:

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/15/ma...eogames-t.html

Flower is also mentioned.

Right now I'm in the middle of Fallout 3, but it's such a long game that I'm considering taking a break from it and playing Braid.
