IGN just received word from a Hothead Games representative confirming the North American and European release of Braid for PSN. The spokesperson could not, however, comment on when the game will be released, but expect to hear more news in the coming months.
This is one game that I've been really waiting and hoping got ported over to the PlayStation.
Bought it last night as soon as it came up on the store, and fully completed world 2 before going to bed. It's an amazing game so far. Definately lives up to the hype. If you're like me and sick of every game revolving around "shooting dudes," you owe it to yourself to give Braid a try.
This is my first exposure to the game, and it's very clever. The time-warped homage to Donkey Kong was really neat, and the concept of sacrificing your alternate selves to further your goal is cool, too. Some of the puzzles really break convention and force you to think outside the box. I like it.
Game is amazing. Truly amazing. GF is playing it right now and shes on I think the third part, but you end up going back too. She's been playing for a little over an hour and I can't stop watching. But I have to, because I want to play through it myself too and not ruin it.
Just getting into World 5. Visual and audio-wise, it's a real treat, and the puzzles are clever. I don't think it's as big of a deal as it's been made out to be, though, and some of the pretentious writing at the beginning of the level irks me and feels like the creator just sat down with a thesaurus to sound smart.
Maybe what is still to come in the game will change my mind, though.
