So now the PSN is sending out some spam. Well its spam IMO. Sign on this morning and theres a message from the PSN for GTA, open it up and click on it and it brings you to the PS store. You cant even block them as that is greyed out, all you can do is protect, delete, and info. Way to go Sony, Ive got a huge FUUUUUUU for you!!!

I've gotten one similar message since June, offering 50% off Daytona USA for "select PSN members." These messages seem to be very infrequent.

I do think we should be able to opt out of them, though, especially PS+ members who are already paying for the service.

I get these regularly. You used to be able to opt out of promotional emails, but I don't see a way to do it anymore.

PSN & XBL ID: drop me a private message

I'd call the GTA IV messages spam by virtue of the fact I received one two days in a row now. Why of all games I wonder? It certainly has nothing to do with my buying history. If I got a message for Trine 2, having bought Trine, that I could understand.

I think there is a way to opt-out thru logging into the PSN website and adjusting the email preferences.

I have received these more often since I subscribed to PSN+. I do not think I received any before becoming a + member. It could be related to the program specifically but I am not sure if anyone on here is not a + member.
