I was wondering if anybody could help me with a problem i have been having. Some times when i turn my PS3 on and then turn my Samsung t240 on, after the PS3 health and safety screen comes on the image shifts 1 inch to the right. if i turn my TV off and then on it fixes the problem. This use to happen randomly, but now it is happening more often. Does any body know why this could be happening because it is starting to get annoying.
i did that and both inputs work and the cable is fine. But i'm wondering whether it is the TV that is doing it or the PS3. Does anybody have ideas about what is the cause
Did you have the same problem using a different input? Did you have the same problem using a different cable? Can you connect something else via HDMI and see if it has the same problem? Can you connect the ps3 to another TV? It is probably a problem with the TV but the only way to figure it out is by scientific process of swapping stuff out.
i have used my PS3 on my Samsung Ln40a650 which is 1080P and there is no problem. i have my computer connected to my TV (Samsung t240hd) and i have never seen this problem before. i have tried other HDMI cables and the problem still occurs. i think it may be at the TV side of the problem, because the PS3 outputs 1080P and the TV is 1920X1200 could this have any thing to do with it.
