While it was expected that Dawnguard, the first DLC offered for Skyrim by Bethesda, was going to be delayed 30 days after it was delivered to the XBOX, many months have past and yet, still no DLC is available. The PC release has already happened, yet there isn't even an official release date from Bethesda on when PS3 users can expect the new content. In fact, XBOX users are about to receive the next DLC, which will also have a 30 day moratorium for all other systems..
Rumor is, Dawnguard just doesn't translate well to the PS3 and the game becomes almost unplayable. Others believe that Bathesda just doesn't care about the PS3 and are throwing out lame excuses until they can finally pull the plug and move on to full production of Fallout 4.
It's sort of an unusual situation that a game company that was so successful is doing this to a 4 million person fan base. Honestlly, I don't know really what to believe, Though I do feel that my ability to play a game that works on my PS3 is just on the low end of their priority list; and really, it's just more of a burdon to them than anything.
Sad thing is, I will be first in line for whenever Fallout4 hits the shelves.
