Does anyone use these products? I like how my thumbs rest in the 360 controller, and am looking at these add ons for the sticks on the PS3 controller to let me get a better grip. It's not really for shooters, I am not a big fan of them, but I am wondering if these do a good job for what I want.

I have the CQC & standard one's. I prefer using these (kontrol freeks) as it has that in-groove, compared to not using them.

I use these. Worth it in my opinion, but if you are not playing FPS or Racing games I have a hard time seeing the point. The major idea here is that it is extending the stick so that you can fine-tune your aiming precision more, not so much just a "grip" thing.

I like the Kontrol Freek: it works well in improving targetting accuracy for FPS and Third Person Shooters.

Agree with the above. Also the extra length can be a detriment to some games especially ones that require fast back and forth movements of the analog stick. I usually take them off if I'm not playing a shooter.

I really like them on the 360....but I think theyre unnecessary on the PS3. The DS3 sticks are already a little looser and have a bit more range of motion as it is. And theyre so close together that extensions would probably mean you'd bang your thumbs together more often.

Why would you put one on the left stick anyways? Outside of racing games I am not sure when I ever need to fine tune my left stick adjustments. Sure, some games require you to use softer movements to walk or whatever, but it's not something that you ever really need twitch precision over.

I use some because the DS3 sticks get a bit slick for me. I like the grip afforded by the add-ons. It's true though that with the stick layout the chance of butting thumbs is increased a bit. Still, to me it's worth it.
