Hi guys,

I have seen that a Batman game offers 3D support, but the kind that is used with cheap color filtered glasses.

- Are there any games for PS3 that support the use of active shutter glasses, in the same way that blu-ray does??

Here are some games that I have that are 3d Gran turismo 5, Ratchet and clank all 4 one, NBA 2K12, MLB 11 the show, Motorstorm Apocolipse. Here is the link for most of the 3d games from Sony http://uk.playstation.com/ps3/games/ and http://us.playstation.com/ps3/accessories/sony-playstation-3d-display-ps3/three-d-games.html

I'm sure that all of these use active shutter glasses and i don't think any of the 3d games for the PS3 use those color filter glasses except maybe a few old games. I have no idea why that Batman game uses those color filter glasses, also which Batman game are you talking about?

A couple of early games use the old "red blue" type glasses. There are a couple of more recent games that use InfiColor (a different color scheme that supposedly improves the visuals so that the image isn't so overwhelmed by red and blue - Batman Arkham Asylum used this). There are MANY games that support modern 3D TV's (all of these support both active shutter passive polarized TV's/glasses).

A complete list is here:
http://www.3dtested.com/3d-ps3-games-list/

(it also mentions if the games support the old red-blue or inficolor glasses)

Cool!

I just tested Black Ops - It automatically went 3D - did not have to choose something like "play 3D" like with blu-rays.

But, I did not feel any real added depth or pop-up from this game (just tested the escape from work camp level)

Leaping off of things in Assassin's Creeds = can make you feel ill in 3D.
