It took me 15 minutes to make my Japanese account, and that was when I knew nothing of the language.

How do you go about creating another account that links, like a UK account for instance, to play War Thunder?

Pen, are there any games on the Japanese ps plus even though the ps4 hasn't been released?

Think you go to the Sony UK account and use a bus depot for an address. Has to be valid. Not sure on the rest. May try it out...

After watching it some more I think you're right. The planes look cool though.

Dead Space still takes the scariest game in recent memory award for me. Man, I couldn't even play 15 minutes at a time with that game. My finger was on the trigger non stop. It must be my deep fear of the 'Alien' films (the first two) and that archetype. Not having a weapon in Outlast seems to quiet my fears as I know I can't get rid of any of the creatures, just avoid them.

But that is the whole thing that makes Outlast scarier to me (although I haven't played past the first few minutes yet).
Dead Space was scary but at least I had some amazing weapons.
When those demon babies attack you in DS2, it was scary buy I had that hammer weapon, I could freeze them for a second, etc.

Can you imagine that part of the level, without a weapon? I would soil myself.
One of the reasons I really don't want to play it.

Seems the people who don't typically do these types of games are reporting Dead Space level tension and scares. That's a cool thing. It's been really cool to see the
"console" crowd get in on some PC type experiences with the PS4. Sony really seems to have gotten it this turn regarding games. There's tons of smaller PC games that would find a great audience on PS4 I think.

I totally agree. I think the pc games coming to a console is fabulous and I'd like to see more. And don't get me wrong, Outlast is still scary.

Hey guys,

I haven't being around, well mainly because I decided to wait on the PS4, (last of US DLC coming up and aside of Ghost and Fifa14 upgraded version, not a lots of games that made me want to get a next gen that soon) but then,..my lovely wife said she'd buy it for me with fifa 14!!!

I was searching for the PS3 to PS4 upgrade for FIFA14 but apparently it is only the Xbox One getting the 10us upgrade deal. (Apparently)
I bought it for PS3 as a digital download and I thought I could get it for the same deal on PS4. frown.gif

Agreed! The scares still work to a degree even after not playing DS for a long time. I like Outlast but DS left it's mark that is for sure. I hope there is another DS in the works for this console soon.

My PS4 arrived on Tuesday and got it setup and updated to 1.60. So far it is an amazing machine, I got Killzone and D/L'ed Outlast. The controller light is annoying but I'll live

Outlast is creepy! The audio is a big factor, I wasn't sure if some of the sounds were from the game or from outside my apartment (It was raining outside and I play with all the lights off). Somebody locked the bathroom door in the game and some blood was dripping. The night visions functionality of not lighting up everything but having to focus on the area you want lit up really adds to the tension. Plus my character has creepy hands.. I eventually bitched out and went back to playing Tomb Raider.

I would love to see a lot more PC games brought over plus many past gen games getting the Tomb Raider treatment. Updated visuals and 60fps please.

Sony really hit it out of the ball park with the PS4 biggrin.gif

1080p/60fps. It isn't a graphically intensive/impressive game so it would have been surprising to be anything less. Then again I have only played a tiny bit and haven't encountered anybody/anything so I'm not the best judge.

It's a F2P game, you get what you pay for. The controls were awkward (I was playing with a DS4), and it was just a mess of planes shooting at each other, I died three times and then I think I needed to wait or pay to respawn. I dunno if everyone else was better, or just earned/bought better planes. Even if they fix the controls, it still just felt like a bone standard dogfighting game, nothing special about it.

Nice.

I thought the graphics were really good for what they are. They got the night vision effect perfect. I really liked it, but it's a one trick pony and it only really needed to be half as long as it was. A few scenes break the mold towards the end though.

I do like the night vision effect as well, it adds a lot of tension. I need to play more. It is nice, smooth and immersive for sure. It is clear it isn't the latest and greatest graphically when looking at textures, etc. The atmosphere is great, very creepy!

Sounds like a crappy pilot tongue.gif No I know its f2p so I'm not expecting something earth shattering. It is a flight sim and I wouldn't mind a more real experience vs more arcade. I figure its a 50/50 shot of me having the same experience you did . Either way I'm not out anything except time and electricity.

It felt very arcadey to me. Nothing at all like MS flight sim if that's what you're thinking. Very similar to BF1943.

Yea I remember reading it has an arcade/normal mode and a realistic. So it hits both worlds I guess. I've thought about trying it on my old PC too but I'm not sure that could handle it.

Edit: oh yea, 1943 rocked so that's a plus in my book.

Battlefield 1943 or the old arcade 1943? War Thunder is most like BF1943. Though 1943 was a cool arcade game. Need more games like that too. I'd love to see old school Zaxxon brought back in the arcade.

Exactly, Outlast creates more tension knowing you have no weapon and it's more realistic vs Dead Space, no comparison really (in my opinion wink.gif).

Maybe I have just played too many Alien games over the years and it's just not as scary any more (?).

It's cool to see so many people playing it, last night about 3/4 of the streams were Outlast.

Comments, feedback please, I don't think the patch, 1.6 totally fixed the headset's, it was a hack job at best, while I'm happy that I can now use my Pulse headset again, I can't adjusted the chat or game volume using the sliders, the sound of the explosions, which sound great, but make it hard to hear the chat, the master volume and mute work, but the simulated 7.1 isn't working either, I 'm only playing BF4, and the ingame settings in BF4 don't appear to do anything to the chat and master volumes either. And I noticed last night that I have to turn the headset on prior to launching BF4, if I launch after the game has loaded, I'm getting an error Turing on the headset, and what's strange it even asks which user wants to use the head set, ever after logging in.

Thanks Sony, I think.
