ALl games I buy are hardcopy. Dont think I will ever go digital if I have the option.

As some have said, downloading a 40gig game on a 80 gig/month cap doesn't help the case either. There is also something about going and picking up a new game, wrapped up from the store, taking it home and opening it up for the first play (usually followed by a 10-15 min wait to actually play it for the install)

I can count on 1 hand the amount of games I have downloaded (full games) and that is including the 2-3 freebies for the PS4.

I hear you, but I have no data cap for downloading so I have downloaded a couple of games to try it out. My issue is now I have nothing to trade and I'm stuck with a game that I may never play again. There is the waste to me.

If there was more of an incentive to buy digital I would, but if I can get a game on disc for say $20 cheaper than downloading at full price, it makes no sense to go digital. Plus if I hate it I can trade/sell a disc, whereas with digital I can cry while I delete it.

Dead Nation mentions updated graphics and controls, not sure what the latter is about. It also adds a broadcasting mode, but isn't that built-in for all PS4 titles? So, doesn't sound like anything new unfortunately.

With my move from a 42" ED plasma to a 65" HD it still looks pretty good on PS3, so will be interesting to see what kind of a visual upgrade it gets. Since I wanted to play through it again anyway, and it's free, the timing is perfect for me, but if I wasn't in that position I probably wouldn't bother.

Wonder if there is an upgrade option for owners of Dead Nation PS3 who are not Plus members.

[EDIT] Actually, there is more info that is copied in the Dead Nation thread that elaborates on what is new, and it's a little more interesting than what was in the blurb I read. Broadcast+ mode sounds absolutely hilarious...

May be old but at least its relevant, I'm hoping Microsoft steps up its game with GWG.  So far I have only seen one arcade and one really old game per month with it and its not on the One at all yet.

Yep, 2 2013 GOTY (IMO) that are barely a year old. Not too shabby Sony!

Now hurry up and put AC4 on PS4!

Going to pick up a PS4 very soon...like in March hopefully. Where would you guys put the PS4 in my HT setup? I plan to keep everything I have in there now but want the best place for it to be housed for cooling etc.
I am thinking on top of the silver Motorola TV receiver as it generates the least heat?

I would definitely not want it directly on top of the receiver, I don't suppose you can add a shelf? Looks like there is plenty of room there for one.

I was thinking the Motorola Fibre Op receiver on the left (silver) because it gives off so little heat. I can't add a shelf unless I make one.

Not sure how I can do that and keep the wife happy. We just bought this stand to hide my toys. Slapping a PS4 on the top of it will cause me marriage troubles.

Where does the PS4 dissipate heat from? Sides? Bottom??

I understand,

Heat blows out the back, and is sucked in from the sides. The top of the PS4 and bottom can get hot though, that's the main reason for my suggestion.

You get a 30% bonus credit if you pre order something.  So you may consider paying full price for thief to get the extra 30% if there is a game your going to get anyway like infamous.

I think i got like 112 for 3 games it was just under 40 a game then I updated a pro membership for like 6 dollars and still had 4 bucks left.

Its a good suggestion if I could make it work frown.gif

Maybe on top of the TV Receiver with rubber feet added might allow enough air flow through the bottom. I think I read there is not much clearance underneath the PS4

Yeah, there's not much clearance at all underneath. I put mine on some little power conditioner feet I had, it gives it another good inch and a half. You could get one of THESE to set it on. I know my cable box gets really hot, even when it's in standby.

I have mine sitting underneath my PS3. Since neither are on at the same time I don't see what the fuss would be. Not sure if you can see but I did put some of those clear plastic/rubber feet on the bottom of my PS3 to leave a little clearance for airflow although I am not sure that is totally necessary.

I have that same Belkin power unit, great design.

I'd place it under the 360 like mentioned above. That TV box would have to be almost cool to the touch for me to put a game console on it, whereas you'll never be running both PS4 & 360 at the same time. Adding a shelf on either side somehow would really help.

Yeah I really like the Belkin unit especially for the price.

Yes I would never have both on at the same time and eventually the 360 may go in the other room for my son but thats a ways down the road.
The other choice is under the PS3 on top of the Belkin unit. I will see how hot it gets when everything is turned on...the plasma draws a fair amount of power. I have never tested the Belkin for how hot it gets.

Which Belkin is that if you don't mind me asking? I am thinking about replacing my aging Raxxess PD-800 and have not decided on a replacement yet.
