I saw enough games to keep me going this year as well. I'm one of the ones that did not have a PS3 so I'm looking forward to TLOU as well as PS Now to fill in the gaps. I'm also looking forward to hearing a release date for No Man's Sky.

Very good. There is no such thing as a literal "god" however Miyazaki is a proven quantity and therefore my anticipation is most palpable. I might suggest I am"moist" in anticipation but then that would disturbing given the context.

Ha! But that man's brain is something fantastic and I for one am most appreciative.

Definitely enough to keep me going, but absolutely nothing I'm truly excited for other than no mans sky...but I think it's safe to assume that anything without a date is 2015 at the earliest.

The only thing missing was a teaser for Dragon's Dogma 2, if that had happened I would have gone nuts.

What is the game they brought up twice, they are talking about it on the gamespot after show wrap up now.

Vibrimin, is the phonetics I'm hearing, but I have no idea what they are saying. Google gets nothing, so that's not even close to whatever game they are talking about.

AH ha, playstation vib gets results, and it's called Vib Ribbon. Never heard of this before, but it looks a lot like pa rappa gameplay.

Whelp, that show much like the Xbox show was a big bag of "meh". I'm not saying there aren't any games I'm excited for but their show was hard to watch at times. MS's show was a paint by numbers straight edge cgi-athon and Sony's was a lame joke-fest and exec snorer. Also the attempt at street cred by mentioning NeoGaf, Vib Ribbon, etc. was pretty cringe worthy. Ironic too Sony touted tv, camera, etc. whereas MS just stuck with games. It's not quite the same situation as last year but was a little funny to notice. Luckily the Uncharted teaser saved it somewhat. I NEED a new Uncharted game.

As an aside Batman sure looks fantastic though. Too bad the delay to next year took some of the excitement out of its sails. Still, damn it looks good.

Sony mentioned the camera about as much as Microsoft mentioned Kinect, and even then it was mostly to throw a jab at Microsoft...

Yeah, Sony has the uncanny ability to make everything take twice as long as it needs to.

At least you got a sense of where they're going, even if there won't be anything worthwhile until next year.

I liked most all of what I saw. The TV show looks interesting, and free with Plus, yea I will definitely watch that for free. Vita tv is a buy if for nothing than to ditch my PS3 dust collector and not burn up my PS4 on Netflix. Little Big Planet, Abvu or whatever, No Mans Sky, yea good stuff. Arkham Knight looks really good. The Crew, dam it looks good. Division just looks incredible, assuming its a graphical downgrade but still looks cool. Uncharted was just meh, I'm excited for it but what they showed wasn't great. The KZ dlc looks fun as hell. But the Bloodborne trailer 8=========D From Software is one of my favorite developers of all time and that just takes the cake for me.

What happened to Deep Down and some of the other stuff we saw last year? Kind of disappointed none of that made it in. Even for a pulse check.

Ooh need to watch the Rainbow 6 trailer I missed out on.

Complaint time, Sony your streaming sucks horribly and wtf is up with an app that uses the browser? IGN your phone app is a pos too.

Overall I'd say solid A for Sony's content. They hit a ton of games, had some good drops, and addressed just about everything on the table. Big fat F for streaming.

Sony won it on games but they lost E3.

With Jack Tretton gone it looks like they had idiots running this years show. Putting in that Moron for 30 minutes in the middle of possibly their best show completely killed everything .

If they put that idiot in the beginning it could have been salvaged it but between that and BS with produced TV content did they learn nothing from MS ??? Looks like they are reverting already...

So disappointed that there was no Ultra Street Fighter IV announcement for PS4 (unless you count that it was one of the PS Now launch titles announced.)

Yep, how does this even happen? Were nearly a year in now and its last gen, pass. I was all set to buy it until I saw PS3 only.

Eh it was the tone of the camera presentation. I don't care for snarky remarks (which seem accentuated by British accents) and I have no interest in Morpheus so to me it was wasted time. YMMV of course.

No doubt, 2015 is going to be a great year. They have to forecast their next 12-18 months and I think they did a good job of it, as did MS. It's just I was bored to tears half way through. Uncharted was a nice send off though even if it's just a teaser.

edit

I did find it interesting that aside from some mentions Sony essentially ignored the PS3. Same with MS and the 360. It's like they want to move on from those two as fast as they can.

Morpheus was only briefly mention which actually surprised me, I thought they would be pimping it like crazy.

I don't know why but the Bloodborne teaser just didn't do much for me, maybe when we get to see more of the game that will change.

Rainbow 6 did look good and seems like it could be fun with a good group of friends online but, the dialogue used that was trying to be a causal online conversations was horrible.

So far the games that have me most excited from E3 this year are The Witcher 3, The Division, MGS V, Uncharted 4 and Batman. I'm closely watching Far Cry and Dragon Age. TLoU and GTA will be fun to play on my PS4 as well. My inner geek is also very excited for SW Battlefront but, he was really hoping to see some actual gameplay instead of people at desks and concept renders. So he's a little depressed right now.

white PS4 bundled with destiny
http://www.joystiq.com/2014/06/09/white-playstation-4-bundle-debuts-alongside-destiny/

When Destiny first appears on the PlayStation 4 on September 9 it will be available both as a standalone game, and in a special bundle with an exclusive "glacier white" console.

According to Andrew House, president of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., this special version of the PlayStation 4 will feature a 500GB hard drive, a "glacier white" DualShock 4 controller, a copy of Destiny and a 30-day PlayStation Plus voucher. Notably lacking from House's revelation was a price point for the bundle.

Update: Sony sent along further information on the bundle, which will cost $449 (439 euros). Alternatively, European buyers can pick up the glacier white PS4 alone for 399 euros. Glacier white and "urban camouflage" versions of the DualShock 4 controller will be available for $59 (59 euros).

My fuzzy math: E3 announcements last year + GT6, GTA5, Dark Souls 2 and now SF on PS3 = the bottom line that its been long enough to have ported these up to next gen consoles by now....

Edit: GTA is moving up but should have been a launch title IMO.

The image they used in the press conference look REALLY white, like shining star white. I think it looks better in black, although I wouldn't mind a white DS4, would really like a red DS4 which was suppose to come out not long after launch but never did.

I think E3 has switched me from a one to a ps4 smile.gif

One thing i want to ask is their any sort of IR solution for ps4 coming? I owned some devices back in the day for my ps3 before i sold it (it was a pain) but when you set up a universal remote solution it sucks you cant do anything with it, especially if you would want to use it for netflix or something else.

Not that I am aware of. They are also completely ignoring 3D blu-ray playback.

IMO, avoid headaches by thinking PS4=games only.
