Head to Neogaf, both "release" threads have long lists of who's streaming and direct links.

The PS4 reveal had major issues thanks to too many people watching them. (Mine was a slideshow when it worked) I wish youtube would livestream them, at least they can handle the traffic.

A few Nintendo directs had similar issues (the Pokemon reveal for example) thankfully they upload them to youtube and both eshops and each trailer gets it's own video. They also upload every commercial, the NSMBU tv spot has almost 6 million views...

With Microsoft basically buying all the TV stuff, a fluffed up press event is now largely worthless. Sony needs to adopt a Direct style delivery system and do them monthly, it really is a great delivery method. Dirt cheap to put together too.

I'll just stick with my 360 until the system or support dies and then just stop gaming.

Really, my only sticking point against the XBone is the no renting thing. If it wasn't for that, it would still be a toss up between it and the PS4. I use GameFly and want to continue to use it. If the new systems don't allow it then I won't buy either of them.

I'll never buy another Nintendo console again. The most I did with my Wii was dust it off, just a waste of money. I don't like first party Nintendo games and beyond that there isn't anything really interesting about the Wii U.

Will never do Steam or PC gaming for the same reason I'm not considering the XBone, can't use GameFly. I know Steam offers great sales but, I don't want to wait 8 months to play Battlefield, I want to play it now and GameFly allows me to do that.

Seriously, all Sony has to do to get me to be at the PS4 midnight launch is to allow me to rent games through GameFly.

I know but I haven't done much with it, I don't have a gaming PC. I did grab Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 from GF, it runs great on my laptop!

There PC service is a nice added bonus but, it's not worth the price of the subscription if that is your main interest, IMO.

It is definitely not. The games are old and only a few worth the time.

I bet you PS Home will crash with all this hype going into E3. Watch.

Just to add to my giddiness, I got a phone call this morning saying I have to come in to cover a 24 hour duty. I was thinking to myself "work 24 hours today.....get tomorrow off." I'LL BE RIGHT THERE!!

Is it confirmed whether or not you can pause a game and switch over to Netflix or whatever with the game still going in the background?

They have enough RAM for that.I imagine that you can have at least one game running simultaneously with one major non-game app, but specific stuff like that have not yet been confirmed.

Yeah, it depends on how much RAM they're setting aside from games. If its just the core OS and services, apps like Netflix aren't going to be able to run side by side. If they carve out a bigger chunk for apps, fast switching to another app is more likely.

The question would then be, is the 7GB all for games, or games and non-game apps?

Yep. That's a crucial distinction. 1GB isn't a lot for OS + apps....so I don't think apps themselves will run in the background.

It doesn't have to be so black and white. As long as there is enough RAM available, there is no reason why multiple programs can't run simultaneously.

Vita allows you to have a couple of games/apps alive at the same time. When you hit the Home button, the one you are using suspends and you simply switch over or launch something else. If you run out of RAM, Vita will allow you to decide if you want the original app/game to close before proceeding.

Funny thing if you watched it today was that when each speaker stood in front of the XBOX ONE display they blocked out the X and all you could
see was XBONE.

and on a side note, people call the XBone a $500 cable box.

Try buying a fancy DVR from your cable company for $500.

I did not notice that. Xbone will be a 2015-2016 purchase for me if at all. They did not strike a single chord with me on the system. Some of the games looked good but not enough for the investment.

I really hope PS4 lives up to my expectations.

So these guys were wrong... they were estimating the XBOX ONE to be released at $400 and the PS4 at $350.
So looks like MS wants MO-MONEY.. I'd like to see Sony hit that $350 number.

I think the smart money would be $399. It would kill MS and not leave as much money on the table. I think anything lower than that is unrealistic at this point.
