Ahh but the website is merely the delivery mechanism and you surely wouldn't shoot the messenger?

Besides, to answer your quiz:
A LCD
B 360
C maybe
D HDDVD
This like one of those Facebook IQ tests where I'm going to win a million bucks that gets presented to me in time to loan to a deposed Liberian prince who will repay in gold bars?

You would fail this test. LCD? Plasma was the correct answer.

I was thinking of buying killzone shadow fall, but. Is it easy to find games, or will I be waiting and waiting to play a game? I live on the east coast, if that matters.

Shouldn't. I personally haven't been on in months, but I think it is still fairly active. Maybe wait until the game is on sale again? BB had it for around $20 not too long ago.

I bought it, used it a couple of times and haven't used it since. Voice controls for the system are an exercise in frustration. I'm hoping I can use it with some of the sports games coming out this fall to see if they expand its use.

I wouldn't get it unless you plan on streaming a lot and want people to see you.

Thanks for the info. I assumed as much. I never used the original Kinect for anything but a bit of the Kinect Sports. Voice recognition was terrible. Haven't had a chance to try out an XBONE but really have no urge to talk to my game system with X% accuracy when I could pick up the controller for 100% accuracy.

Should they be required to state on the box that their effective resolution is lower than what is being advertised? I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea but I just think there comes a point where it's picking nits and it gets confusing for the customer more so than being told something is 1080p when technically it's not quite. The game is 1080p. I don't see why they should have to change anything.
I think the HD debate should be viewed the same as the way Weather forcasters on the news do it so if it's anywhere near 720p then call it Full HD and be done with it.

I agree with Kamo. Aside from streaming it is proving to have little value, though it was novel for Playroom. I've been meaning to try it out with War Thunder, but I am teh lazy! Save the $$, buy a game or extra controller for now.

I personally don't think so. I got one last year before I got my PS4. I rarely use it though. Of course it doesn't help that it doesn't work well in a lower light situation which is typically the case when I have my TV on. With just my TV backlight on my Kinect 2 has no problem. But the PS4 camera can't even recognize me. I need to turn on my floor lamp to even use the PS4 camera. Plus it was never the best with voice recognition for me. UNlike the Kinect 2 which is almost flawless with both of my XBOnes. Whenever I pick up a second PS4, I do not plan on getting a PS4 camera for it.

A lot of TVS will render the 1080p picture as overscan -- about an inch of picture is rendered under your tv bezel.

Full HD will render the picture on the visible screen with no overscan.

When I did some Blu-ray authoring a few years ago (I had a popular demo disc circulating on AVS) there was a well defined "safe zone" that it was highly recommended by Scenarist (one of the pro authoring suites) to not place any menu action items outside of this zone.

Seems promising enough to me, although I'm definitely usually not huge on exaggerated leaping in FPS's.

10% is usually considered the danger zone, with 5% being no mans land based on the calibration images I picked up 7 years ago and regularly used up until my house fire. I never replaced the overscan tests since I use 1:1 for everything now.

Have to watch it later but sounds like their basically robbing Pilots from TF. Eh not a bad thing. Just a different thing than people are used to probably. You go back to Quake and games of that vintage and they had exaggerated jumps, jump pads, portals and all kinds of cool stuff missing today.

Ok my xbone is paying off lol Finally realized it was the first of the month so I checked out the Live offerings: Strike Suit Zero & Crimson Dragoon. Haven't looked at CD yet but Strike Suit gets a giant meh. Glad I passed on that one for PS4 when it dropped. The controls and my brain don't mix.

Been playing Fez on this side...what a fun game! Reminds me of a mixture of NES games Metal Storm, where you manipulated gravity, and Mario.

I would have reached a similar conclusion, however in reading a preview-review today on Eurogamer one of the design blokes they interviewed stated quite emphatically that this whole Exo mechanic was conceived right after MW3 was sent out as final.

So.... ummm... could be a whole lot of hooey that the lawyers and marketing department concocted up, but FWIW that is what they are claiming.

The video does look pretty good I must admit. Then again so do alot of trailers for crap movies! Don't know if my aging gaming brain can handle an even more frenetic CoD. The lightweight, ninja teleporting knifing commandos from MW2 are not exactly a fond memory.
