I'm actually not mad at Microsoft, a little disappointed though. On the subject I ran across this article linked on GAF http://www.gamesindustry.biz/article...-bound-to-fail and I think it's actually a pretty fair and balanced assessment of why this news is disappointing to a lot of people. For those who don't get the disappointment, maybe reading this will explain it better. It's worth a read.

Don't own a WiiU but I can tell you its not for me just by a complete lack of games, real or perceived. I'm not bashing it because their leadership isn't trying to fk gamers over. If the shoe was on the other foot you bet your @%% I'd be shredding it. But I'm also a hypocrite cuz if Sony with their better hardware said TR was a PS4 exclusive I'd buy it day one so I'm not completely blind and do see the other side. I just don't see Sony buying a third party game out at this point. They have a phenominal set of first party studios which were probably bought to keep their games from other consoles but we'll ignore that part
i think i fair comparison is when we play BF, it like when i play with both MPH and nexus, but playing with nexus is inferior in every way that counts to MPH. I mean MPH is a better pilot, he doesn't complain as much as nexus, he is a better teammate. Now look i am not bashing nexus because all he does is play fantasy games with his BFF pentadragon. And i can assure you that i don't have a man crush on MPH and if nexus was actually better i would admit it.

First noticed it the other day after Gamescon when it seemed to appear out of nowhere near the top on the Amazon Top 100 in Video Games list.
I have not, would like to see a gameplay video if there is one.

If owned both the Xbox One and PS4, I'd still be disappointed in the TR news simply because I want the game running on the most powerful system. I like the previous game and I wouldn't want to wait for the most likely better version (if the remaster is any indication)..

That's just it. It isn't a coping mechanism. I got no uneasy or scary feeling. Just a boring repetitive feeling from the audio/video. I would love to be scared by something like this. But it just doesn't happen. Even when I was a child it was extremely rare for me to get scared by a movie. I was more likely to be scared from a book. But I would welcome it. Since if something scares me then I might have a nightmare. And I LOVE to have nightmares. But I'm lucky if I have one nightmare every few years. It is extremely rare for me. Which is why I love it when I have them.

Interesting. I have literally never awoken from a nightmare and looked back on the experience as something I'd ever wish to go through again.

So if Total Recall existed you'd choose a nightmare for your adventure?

Good read, well balanced in not taking sides. One thing the author should touch on is what the consumers will think if Microsoft continues to try and "buy" the industry. Gamers, as stated, just aren't able or willing to spend $400 for one game and one game alone. MS needs to build is backbone of 1st party studios and give them the blank checks to build new IPs.

Phil Spencer has shown he is more in-tune with the market and consumers, so he could potentially lead them to greater success, but if the division continues to try and money-hat everything they will quickly find themselves worse off than they are right now.

Hopefully Sony is paying attention to the way gamers are reacting and learning from that about how to further keep growing their base and retain consumer loyalty.

So a third car title in as many months? Wow!! It is going to be overloaded with car titles this fall. After getting FH2 in September and Drive Club in October. I'll probably wait on getting Project Cars when it comes out in November. Unless there is some great sale price on it.

I don't have nightmares, they just don't scare me even in situations where I should be scared. Last time I had a "nightmare" someone had broken into my house and was trying to find me (it was someone I know and I do fear would try just that) However, I don't run and hide in dreams, I confront the danger and fight it, even if I am powerless. Makes me wonder how I would truly handle a situation like that...

On the up side, last night I dreampt about Dragon's Dogma 2, so yay me!

I barely ever dream. Just sleep heavy. I may jump at stuff unexpected but things are not scary. I think the first Alien movie when I was 5 and seeing the Exorcist as a teenager were the only things that ever really disturbed me. Otherwise I've watched enough sci-fi and horror I'm good. I loved the creepiness of PT, just a massive sense of dread through the whole thing.

I've never been one that could be that self aware in my dream that I could make things happen. I'm just there for the show, lucky if I can even remember a dream.

I used to have nightmares as a little kid so I'd go sleep with the parents. But then I'd have nightmares of falling down the Grand Canyon as I'd roll off their bed in my sleep. We had visited the Grand Canyon not long before these dreams started. Well a couple years ago (I'm nearly 30 now) I was mentioning my haunting nightmares of falling down the Grand Canyon to some people in front of my dad and he started laughing his arse off. He then explained that he was pushing me off the bed all those times so he could make it with my mom

I have nightmares all the time, but they never really bother me. I'm usually lucid enough that if they get too creepy I can wake myself up or change what's going on.

The only one that really got me was a dream where I was looking at the baby monitor and saw a pair of hands grab my little girl. I sprinted down the hallway and made it to her room as they were climbing out the window with her. I woke up immediately and sprinted to her room just to make sure she was there. I was out of breath and shaking. I've never had a feeling like that before. Freaked my wife out too.
