Apparently Sony's Tokyo Game Show press conference is at 1am eastern time.

I'm not going to stay up to watch it, but I want to see Kingdom Hearts 3 gameplay tomorrow.

Did You Get a Bloodborne Alpha Invite? If Not, Here’s How To Apply

http://www.twinfinite.net/2014/09/16...e-got-covered/

Quote:
UPDATE 2: People using this link (https://psnbeta.eu.playstation.com/B...rne/enroll.php) have been able to successfully apply for Alpha Access.

UPDATE: As of 12pm CST some users are reporting a “Your permissions do not allow you access to this section” error after attempting to sign up for the Alpha. This could mean the Alpha is actually exclusive to EU players or that Sony is cracking down on non-invited applicants. Sorry folks, without the email invite you may be out of luck.

Check your email because invites to the Bloodborne Alpha Test are rolling out today. Starting today, players will be able to enter their information for a chance at being one of the select few who get to play From Software’s upcoming Action RPG. Unfortunately, getting the email and signing up doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be selected to play the game early but any chance is better than no chance, right?

If you didn’t get an email, it isn’t the end of the world. By going to psnbeta.eu.playstation.com/Bloodborne you can bypass all those silly ‘invite only’ formalities and register your PSN account for the Alpha anyways. As with the emailed invitations, there’s really no guarantee that you’ll make it into the Alpha, but it beats waiting until 2015 to get your hands on Bloodborne. Sign ups are open through Tuesday 23rd September 11:59AM BST.

Well if Miyazaki designed this game up to his usual standards you should be in for alot of frustration, emotional distress and regular exercise of your most creative "sailor" terminology. If you're lucky that'll be the case at least!

Personally I'm avoiding all things BB until it gets released so as not to ruin all the surprises that they have in store, which is to say I have no idea what this Alpha trial will actually entail.

I've seen minecraft but haven't played it. I don't get the draw. It just looks like a build your own world game with 8bit graphics. What am I missing?

Notch has not been involved in day-to-day operations at Mojang for quite some time, apparently.

I replaced the peeling sticks in my DS4 with metal sticks. I like it much better. It adds a tiny bit of weight to the controller too.

From amazon. It was $12, so kind of expensive just for the pair. I bought from emods, sometimes it will be amazon prime available, not right now.

fascinating. I've never modded a controller before.
How do I know the metal wouldn't bore a hole in my left thumb?

edit* Anyone else use these? They have color options.
Is no one else's thumbstick rubber peeling right off? Am I holding/using the thumbstick incorrectly?

I just got some rubberized covers for mine. They sell them at gamestop and Amazon.

I bought them on monday, received them wednesday. Through prime shipping. I didn't want to order it through one of the other vendors so I paid the big bucks to get prime. Just wait a bit until it shows back up under prime if you want to do the same. Otherwise you have to pay that shipping fee and then who knows how long it will take to get to you.

I added them to my wish list to keep track of the price, didn't really go below 12 or 13 dollars, when it was available for prime.

I also thought people were either aggressively thumbing their sticks because I hadn't had any issue. Once I started playing many hours of Destiny, the rubber started to peel. It only started maybe a day or two before I ordered my stuff.

Used this video. Actually a different video, but when I opened up the controller, a little rubber tab fell out that I couldn't figure out where it belonged and the first video did not show it. This video showed where it went.

And this is my controller.

About to return my controller for the second time for this (rubber peeling)
I'll wait until I'm out of warranty, then do this for sure!

In looking around I saw some clear ones, with LEDs to light them up different colours.
IF ONLY they could light up instead of the light bar!

I like these metal ones much better. The stock sticks get a little slimy after some time. These are easy to just wipe off if that happens, which it hasn't yet. The ribs around the edges make for nice grip.

Are the controllers covered under the extended warranty? So far I have not noticed any issues with mine.

I was told they are when I sent one in one time. I've had my controller sent in twice so far. On the 2nd time I don't know if it was the one I got back or my other controller. So far I have only used my blue controller since picking it up and no problems yet.

If anyone is curious the first issue I had was the left side of the controller stopped working and on the 2nd time sometimes when I would press the stick in a direction for a little bit of time it would continue in the direction even if I moved the stick around. So basically in BF4 I would be running forward and if I let go of the stick it would still go forward and I couldn't change directions or get it to stop.

I did send back a controller for a third repair but it was for a squeaky trigger. It got to the point where I had it with the sound so I called them up and had it swapped out.

Ok so there's a lot, a LOT, more MC related merchandise out there than I would have first presumed:
