I got my PS TV the other day. Can't believe it doesn't have Netflix or Amazon prime. Would have loved to have had a super cheap device that could allow me to use my PS4, play "some" Vita games on a bigger TV, and also be able to stream Netflix and Amazon.
The room I'm using it in doesn't have a wired connection. I tried connecting with my PS4 anyways, and it worked, but it started having problems when my kids got home and started using tablets and stuff in other rooms. For awhile there, I was blown away by how good it was working. I was playing The Last of Us Remastered, and was watching the opening cinematic, and it was almost perfect. After awhile though, it started looking like really choppy YouTube video from the old days. Sometimes it would look half way decent, and you'd almost forget you're streaming, but that feeling wouldn't last too long.
I need to try it on a wired connection and see how it works.
I tried playing some Vita games on it. I was trying to play Need For Speed Most Wanted, but I got stuck at a certain point. Maybe that game isn't compatible. I played Gex: Enter the Gecko for the PS1, and it worked fine, but the controls seemed weird to me using the DualShock 4. I have a few other Vita games I need to try on it....
