Sorry if this has been asked before, but I need to hook up a PAL ps3 with a US (ntsc) TV.

1. Am I correct in assuming that as long as I connect via HDMI cable, it should work fine?

2. All my blu-ray movies are from the UK, doesnt this mean they are 50hz? how will simply using HDMI play my blu-rays at 60Hz?

3. My TV will be plugged into a 120V/60Hz voltage while my PS3 will be plugged into a 220V/50Hz voltage. Is it even safe to connect my TV to a ps3 if they use different power supplies?

Hello, I live in US and work in Nigeria. I bought a ps3 in the US and I have used it on a UK specked TV for years now. And it works flawlessly as long as the power is on anyway.

1. PAL and NTSC is not really an issue since that deals with tuners. ( Yes with HDMI you are good)

2. Your blue ray movies do not care about Hz, but they will be region locked which wont matter as long as you use them with your ps3.

3. Just for reference all ps3s are dual voltage world wide so you can plug it straight into 120 60 or 220 50. ( And no it wont matter the voltage differences)

I hope i answered you questions with as much accurate information as I could.
