Good deal. Hope it works out for you..

I'm hoping the solution to use my Tritton 720's with the PS4 is as simple as picking up a 3.5mm to 2.5mm audio cable. The cable itself is cheap on monoprice but man the shipping is like quadruple the price of the cable alone.

I just read an article on IGN that stated XB1 is also going to support up to 8 people on party chat so that doesn't sound so bad now for the PS4 also allowing up to 8 as well.

BTW, have they mentioned anything regarding pre-loading BF4 for DD purchasers on current consoles? They need to at least start implementing that option soon if they want people to adopt digital downloading.

I wouldn't be surprised if the OS for both xbone and ps4 are updated in a few years to allow more in a party. Were original parties on xbox up to 8 right out of the box? I missed the first 2/3 of the 360's lifespan...

Holding the fort on old games that play the same as the new ones, minus the $400 price tag.

I'd like to see 10 way chat but can live with 8 we usually had 5 on a regular basis and a full 12 was rare. So I don't really want too many more chat slots. How many times would we get an idler playing some other game blabbing over our gameplay?

You know I was thinking it would be nice if there was a way to make a setting where you could only hear people who were playing the same game you were. Or maybe just reduce other peoples' volumes in other games by like 50%.

Or they just leave, that would be the thing to do.

Sometimes its hard to just boot them or start a new chat. Like if it seems that their about to load up and play or even worse when you have too many people to move discreetly.

Test range will hopefully be local and server based to bring additional people together to work on team based tactics rather than a simple by yourself thing. Would be nice to fly against someone or develop as a gunner. But that's probably asking too much. Took this long just to get the range itself.

I'm more interested in them coming up with some way to send an electrical shock through their headset if they start singing or saying how great Kinect is. cool.gif

So this is currently going on in my backyard...

huhy5ymu.jpg

Wifey and I always planned on building a pool when we purchased the house and recently decided that now was the time to get it done.

So contractors are out back digging holes and doing their thing. I fire up the PS3 this AM and notice this...

ejepubet.jpg

So I start troubleshooting the PS3, the router, modem, etc. Nothing. Have no idea what the problem is.

I decide to go out to the backyard where the pool construction is going on. I start looking around in the dirt and I notice this....

u8asater.jpg

Yep. Phone line cut in half. No phones/ no internet. Just marvelous...

So I call AT&T to report the damage. Tech will be out to repair sometime between now and Tuesday, 6pm.

Hopefully it'll be repaired before Tuesday so I can download my digital edition of BF4 and hop online to play with y'all.

The next few days are going to suck not being able to use my iPad and PS3.

I know we all love our electronics and all, but I read the other day that the average person checks their phone 70 times per day. Sometimes I wish I had all the nukes. frown.gif

I would of expected more than 70.

I'm trying another headset to see if the mic issue is the headset or the ps3. since I didn't have a problem with the 360 I'm assuming it's the 2 working together don't like each other. We will see

You sir, are correct. Shouldn't have to depend solely on gadgets for entertainment. Time to take the family to the park or mall for some quality family time.
