8 week wait time until it comes in, or possibly shorter if one opens up or something.

It'll look just like the attached picture at the bottom though (below the video). (Except I have no use for fog lights and chose not to get them. Oh and went without a Sunroof this time.) I basically just tried to keep it as least expensive as possible.

Comes with decent Summer tires (but summer only) so I'm going to have to figure something out for All Season tires.
Tint, not a huge fan (mainly because it affects night time driving, but yeah gonna do that probably immediately.
Like to do a stereo upgrade of some kind from what I understand. There's actually a company near you Hapi...if you want to go listen to their product for me...joking...sort of...

Exhaust...how do I not. Love me some exhaust noises...crank this quick video...

Coilovers...not until I want to go to the track right? I know nothing about coilovers...need to research.

Tune...apparently I have a top Subaru Tuner here locally...idk, I've just started researching this stuff.

Cobb has their Accessport device that only costs $650 and can do different tunes by itself on a stock setup based off their in-house testing. Supposedly adds a little bit of power (everything else still stock) but also adds quite a bit of drivability do to throttle map changes and some "rev hang" lowering...("rev hang" is like a new EPA thing or something to burn off unspent fuel or something and it affects newer models with manual transmissions something wicked from what I have gathered...people hate it and I almost backed off because of it...idk.

Minivan is the way to go. Tinted all around so people wonder who is in the car. "Is it someone famous?" "Is is a soccer dad?" The mystery is the best part of it all.

Congrats MPH, is this the reason you have disappeared from video games? We are losing people to PC and now a car. Whats next?

Yup MPH is going to be spending all his time on the WRX forums now. I don't blame him, cars are one of best hobbies around. One of the more expensive ones too.

Congrats mph, that is a sweet ride.

Set aside another 5K for mods and you'll have a badass ride. Sounds like you're already headed down that road, which is good. Modding is a great way to differentiate yourself from all of the other WRX owners out there, while at the same time improving the looks and performance of your car. Very rewarding stuff.

What audio company were you talking about?

OK, Dolby Atmos sold me. I think I can only watch movies in HRF and Atmos now. Whenever I find another house I will have to wire it for Atmos in preparation for it.

Yeah my first time was watching The Hobbit 2 years ago, and I was blown away by the picture and sound. I can honestly say that atmos works just as well in the HT. Definitely a significant upgrade from traditional surround sound.

Thanks Hapi for helping to kill campers in TDM, and even throwing in some tea bagging for good measure!

Have any of you guys put real money into load out? Played a few games PvE and only one PvP. I don't know if it has staying power but it could be fun if we have a large group and do a private game. The different taunts and dances are pretty funny.

Nice choice, MPH. I'd stay away from suspension parts. Too easy to f-up something and really put the car outta whack. Plus I hate people that feel the need to lower their car. I laugh at them when they complain about hitting stuff or plowing the streets.

Don't bother with all-seasons. If you're buying a set of tires, you might as well buy a set of snow tires and steelies. Then switch between them as necessary.

I always preferred to mod my cars' performance when possible. I had an old NA Mazda Protege5 that had a modded intake, header, underdrive pulley, and catback exhaust that sounded great and had the low-end torque of a v6. Stereo is usually easy to replace, but be careful because the trend these days is to have headunits that are literally built into the dash. Also, running wires all over sucks!

Mudflaps. Get some.

Tint... yeah but don't be a douche and go 5% limo. Stay legal (IL is 35% all around).

Yeah, I'll probably move very slow with mods honestly. One of the first real mods might be the Cobb Accessport...http://www.cobbtuning.com/Subaru-Acc...p3-sub-004.htm

That allows for a change of the stock throttle maps, supposedly partially eliminates "rev hang", and also increases horsepower and torque slightly. From what I understand, it is also nice because it allows you to monitor how the engine is handling things. For example, you'll be able to tell if you have a bad tank of gas. $650

This shop is local to me and is supposedly a very good company...http://turninconcepts.com/...I'll probably stop by there and pick there brain early on.

This audio company is outside of LA I guess. http://shop.oemaudioplus.com/2015-ST...YS400-0015.htm

http://www.iwsti.com/forums/oemaudio...plug-play.html

They have designed a system specifically for this car, using the stock head unit or any popular head unit of your choosing. They actually leave the speakers in there but add tweeters, amps, dsp, and subwoofers with really nice enclosures built specifically for this car. I've read that it sounds really good. It's all plug and play, no real running of wires.

Careful with fuel maps and timing - I have a friend who F-d up one of his cars by messing around with that. He could never get the engine to run more than 45 seconds, even after removing all the mods he had on the car. That's why I like bolt-ons .

Go to Subie meets. Stare. Drool. And do your best not to come out with a shopping list!
