Nice choice, MPH. I'd stay away from suspension parts. Too easy to f-up something and really put the car outta whack. Plus I hate people that feel the need to lower their car. I laugh at them when they complain about hitting stuff or plowing the streets.
Don't bother with all-seasons. If you're buying a set of tires, you might as well buy a set of snow tires and steelies. Then switch between them as necessary.
I always preferred to mod my cars' performance when possible. I had an old NA Mazda Protege5 that had a modded intake, header, underdrive pulley, and catback exhaust that sounded great and had the low-end torque of a v6. Stereo is usually easy to replace, but be careful because the trend these days is to have headunits that are literally built into the dash. Also, running wires all over sucks!
Mudflaps. Get some.
Tint... yeah but don't be a douche and go 5% limo. Stay legal (IL is 35% all around).
Holding the fort on old games that play the same as the new ones, minus the $400 price tag.
