Hey any of you use Audio Technica AD700x headphones for BF4? Im on Xbox One and was thinking of using these with my mix amp 5.8.
I have A50 but I'm not so impressed with them.

I have those headphones but I don't have a mic to use with them. They do sound awesome though. I have a fiio E12 amp I use with it. I a skullcandy headset I use when I need a mic

Thanks Dash! Would I need an additional amp in addition to my mix amp 5.8? I'm thinking about adding a Mod Mic but I don't want a ton of cables. I only hear great things about the 700x. I would only use it for my late night gaming.

I'm not sure how much power that mix amp puts out. I would just set up what you have and are what you think. I know with my fiio if I crank the volume all the way it's too loud.

So I'm watching this show on the history channel called weird warfare. They actually made a cat guided bomb lol. The thought was that cats hate water so they would guide a bomb to land on enemy ships. Unfortunately it didn't work because g forces would make cat unconscious.

Ok, jumping into 'quickmatch' on "Large scale battle" and going from Hammerhead to Zavod was awesome.

I really like my AD700x headphones, but the wires are a bit of a mess. I too had a mod mic, but it stopped working for some reason...only less than a year old too. I ordered a mix amp but haven't used it yet because I haven't taken the time to figure out a mic solution. I had been just using my old Triton amp with my AD700x / mod mic setup, but ever since the mic went bad I just went back to a full Triton amp / headphone setup because of the built in mic.

I need to contact mod mic basically to see if they will do anything for me. Otherwise I'll have to find a different mic.

But the wires...Man what a pain in the ass. I'm not sure how a wireless setup would compare sound wise, but I sure would like to see for myself.

AD700x...very nice...but wires everywhere.

The wires is what did it for me to switch wireless. I even have the 5.8 mix amp so it's less wires for me but still couldn't deal with the 1 wire.

I use the Steelseries wireless and I love them. Better than my A50s and TBs I have owned. Sound is good and they are comfortable.
