She and I had a lot of hard times together and she knew how much I love gaming so we had our places to go when we needed to unwind. In fact she's the one who insisted that I replace my DLP when it went out. She loved hearing me laugh like a fool when we played BF or whatever. Hated the Souls games because of how pissed I'd get.

I know we all don't really know each other outside gaming headsets but I still like the idea of a meet up if we can ever get that going. I'm really thinking hard about the real ID thing and have been for some time actually. I'd have loved for her to meet all your wives and kids. She was very social and could have had a gamer wives support group lol.

Anyway I really appreciate the good times we've all had and hopefully will continue to have. I picked up a couple games yesterday to pass the time. My PS4 sat on standby since Tuesday because I had so much going on with my rental place and then my wife's surgery Wednesday and now her arrangements. I played a little Diablo yesterday and it kind of helped getting back into somewhat of the routine.
Ive always wanted to meet up with yall also. I thought it would be cool if we could meet at some event that we could all get access to (gaming convention, nerd convention, or car show) or even just meet up at a nice city somewhere and have some beer, whiskey, scotch, bourbon, vodka, gin, and doritos. Since we are so spread out we can change locations once a year, heck, maybe even make it to Germany and Australia!
I thought it was cool when Zath met up with Brianbat in Hawaii during the bf3 days.
Anyways, im game for meeting up if we ever want to do that. Im in Alabama but i can easily fly or drive somewhere.

Plenty of room at my place if you all want to make the trek over. Wish I had made more of an effort to say hi when I was over there in October.
Warning, it was the 1st day of winter here yesterday and it was 77F (down to 58F overnight). brrrrr.

Wife on phone" so what did you do at the game conference?"
Me: for the last time It's an electronic entertainment expo, and I stood in line for 8 hours with some online friends to play a Star Wars beta for 30 minutes.
Wife: that's sounds ridiculous
Me: it was awesome.

I doubt BF4 will use P2P. This game is so connection intensive, using P2P will rely on the connection of many untrusting users. Servers have always been the way to go for such intensive games.

I don't even remember posting in this thread!

@lordxar5 , So sorry for your loss man, these kind of unexpected deaths hurt the most, my best friend's father had a similar situation recently where he went to do a gastric bypass surgery and complications ended his life right there, damn difficult to process these kind of stuff, again sorry to hear that.

Spyder also sends his condolences.

Holding the fort on old games that play the same as the new ones, minus the $400 price tag.
