Best buy takes games too. I got $40 for the 360 version of BF4 that I bought for $18 from Wal-Mart. Nice rental.

Grab Kilzone. It's a good change of pace from BF4.

I think some of you can relate to this or find it a little humorous.

While eating dinner my wife placed a printed copy of our bank statement for the last 10 days and said to me "I dont want to hear one thing from you this christmas from what I buy for the kids and myself". I just started cracking up and said to her that $950 of those charges we got back in cash so you cant add that, her reply "How much is the TV you're going to buy?". I quietly laughed to myself and kept eating. I knew this month would be expensive for me. I have yet to tell her how much the TV costs too. Good thing I waited to see if I get a holiday price drop next month.

My wife doesnt care what I spend and I dont care what she spends either, as long as all the bills are paid and the kids college funds gets its money she really doesnt care. I think thats why I laughed so hard because in the 6 years we've been married she has never brought up my entertainment expenses.

Very nice. My wife and I scrutinize all expenses, so we're pretty good about communicating about purchases BEFORE they're made. That said, it sometimes takes her a while to see the benefits of my electronics suggestions. Took 2 years to convince her to go projector. 1 year to convince her to drop cable. 1.5 years for a 2nd xbox (so she could play w/me).

What goes around comes around, though smile.gif.

Lucky for me my wife hates to spend money. She always hesitates and thinks it over. If I am out with her and she is debating, I am the one that has to convince her to buy it. Thats not how it should be. I dont really hide any purchases from her, I tell her things I want to buy, sometimes she asks the cost and sometimes she doesnt. Its not lying if I dont tell her how much it costs.

So what time is Killzone? I should be back on in about 40 min or so.

Zath - speaking of projector... you're going to blown away by the IQ of the PS4. The difference between the 360 and PS4 on my office LCD is pretty dramatic, but the difference between the two on my projector is ridiculous. The projector image no longer takes a back seat to a monitor.

Lazy - you're a lucky man. Normally don't hear of married men having it so easy.

KZ for me will happen around 7pm pacific.

KZ is all team based. You go through different game modes during the course of a match. Its a lot different pace than BF too so even though its a shooter I don't really feel like I'm doing the same thing. Kind of like COD vs BF. Similar ideas but different implementations.

Hapi - after crushing the competition I noticed you were still on so I kind of figured.

While some of you move on to other games, I will be secretly playing bf4 perhaps on my new vita today.

On a funny note, I attempted to trade in one of my xbox360 for the $100 but 2 different locations told me that they couldn't accept it due to the screwdriver marks on the back and the sticker that was no longer intact. I explained that it came that way from ms after the rrod but they weren't buying. I then tried a third best buy and they told me they can't do trades without a best buy receipt...It was not meant to be

I'm having trouble getting used to the thumb sticks. They feel firmer than the DS3 so I am over or under aiming everything. But at least the game worked for me!

I was having major issues with BF4 on Friday/Saturday. Every time I loaded the game up and got to the title screen it would immediately crash, and I played the Fishing in Baku level about 4 times since my data kept getting corrupted mad.gif. Since Monday my experience has been much better. I've experienced the crashing 2 or 3 more times, but my game save was no longer getting corrupted. After I downloaded the patch yesterday, I didn't have any more crashes, but Conquest still doesn't work. Does Sony want everyone to go pick up XB1s?

Everyone is getting Killzone now, hmm. Maybe I'll pick it up digitally and use the $10 credit I have at the PSN store so it's only $50.

I mentioned to my wife the other day that the new Xbox was coming out this week, then she looked at me like she was going to shoot me and asked if I was getting one of those too. Lazy, where are you getting all the time to play so much? I have too many kids, I can't get any play time in besides an hour or two in the evenings (other than Friday and Saturday). I'd also like to thank everyone for not complaining when my kids start crying or you hear a random, "sit down" or "NO, STOP THAT!" in the party chat.

I will be happy if I can get into Obliteration or Rush and not drop after a few minutes. I just want to see a 64 man CQ but that's asking for the moon at this point. Oh irony you $%&*er, I was iffy about KZ so I didn't get the season pass and bought it on disc just in case. Bought BF all digital and ponied up on premium and cannot even play it.

I bought the disc too, and KZ is a nice distraction, but I don't see me playing it much if BF is fully functional.

I don't want KZ to be my primary MP experience but I can see playing it once a week or so even if BF is up and running. BF3 had me burned out a few times and I've learned to either switch games or do something else even if there is a whole crew on. I'm just glad AVS is diverse enough to go beyond COD/BF and try some of these other titles out. That and its four months before the next meaningful title comes out anyway.

You and the other guys need to add to the username list.
So many pages back I can't find it :-/
In hindsight, we should have put a searchable qualifier at the top of it like "AVS running list"

Yeah it would be cool to have few games in the rotation. Especially ones that can accommodate a large amount of players.

Hopefully Blacklight can fill this void. I know free-to-play usually means free-to-be-at-a-massive-disadvantage, but if done right it could be good.

I'm looking forward to Planetside coming out - should be plenty of room in that game to accommodate us all. I see that game eating into my BF4 play time. Hopefully it's released in Jan/Feb.

I was able to play for a couple hours last night since Rush was working for me. The game is awesome when you get into a server. So far almost every defensive team wins since players are just learning the maps and haven't unlocked all of the items that will cause chaos/confusion which will allow for the arming of devices. I've been using the medic (assault) and engineer the most, but it seems the recon is the most versatile on paper.

Yep, it was easier to mute the mic on the 360 since the button was right on the bottom of the controller. Now I have to reach up and slide the bar upwards (it should be downwards). It's just not as convenient.
