Well, I just sold my Madden 25 game (PS4 version). I sold it for only 35 bucks on Craigslist to this dude. Figured that the value would be plummeting pretty dramatically once the Superbowl comes and goes. I got the game as a part of a Target B2G1 deal, so it actually only cost me like $6.50 to own this game for a little over two months.
I would have kept the game if I felt the gameplay was anything special, or even if the presentation was half as good as NBA 2K14, but ultimately, I found Madden 25 on Next-Gen to be somewhat lackluster. The game didn't suck. It was a decent game, but the Next-Gen visual bump was mild at best, and wore off very quickly, and then you're basically left with a pretty mediocre football game when you get right down to it. I had very high expectations coming into the game, hoping to really be wowed by the next-gen experience, but it just never lived up to it. NBA 2K14 not only lived up to my high expectations, it went beyond them. Madden was just a decent game, but nothing special.
Hopefully next years version will be significantly improved.
