I have also liked the game. Best looking Madden I've seen. Graphics are smooth and it seems more than ever that the players are running on the ground and not floating above or sliding across it. I haven't played online yet and probably won't unless one of my friends picks it up. Offline I've found the gameplay to be fairly realistic and fun. All the adjustments are there to let you balance the game for your individual fun level. I like to be able to run the ball and the fun is well supported in this version. I AM Matt Forte! biggrin.gif

Yeah, the run game is much improved. Also, passing defense seems to be improved. Those are two huge parts of the game that could have used a big improvement, and luckily they both got big boosts.

I'm slightly worried that the running game is a bit overpowered.

One thing that's bothering me is the lack of controller vibration when making contact or tackling /maybe a little with the hit stick. It seems to only vibrate for qb pressure or on the scrimmage line. It was the same this year on 360. Why make it so whimpy?

last I heard, Redbox won't have PS4 or XB1 games till 2014 at the earliest. Which I find to be a bit strange.

Well, I just sold my Madden 25 game (PS4 version). I sold it for only 35 bucks on Craigslist to this dude. Figured that the value would be plummeting pretty dramatically once the Superbowl comes and goes. I got the game as a part of a Target B2G1 deal, so it actually only cost me like $6.50 to own this game for a little over two months.

I would have kept the game if I felt the gameplay was anything special, or even if the presentation was half as good as NBA 2K14, but ultimately, I found Madden 25 on Next-Gen to be somewhat lackluster. The game didn't suck. It was a decent game, but the Next-Gen visual bump was mild at best, and wore off very quickly, and then you're basically left with a pretty mediocre football game when you get right down to it. I had very high expectations coming into the game, hoping to really be wowed by the next-gen experience, but it just never lived up to it. NBA 2K14 not only lived up to my high expectations, it went beyond them. Madden was just a decent game, but nothing special.

Hopefully next years version will be significantly improved.
