If I just want to play the Williams Collection Hall of Fame pinball from a PS3 disc how much storage space do I need in the console? Can I use the 12GB model? Or do I need one with a harddrive? Would there be enough room on the 12GB model to load all ten pinball games? If not would I be able to load at least half of them?

It has been a long time since I had a game console so I am unfamiliar with how these things work.

Your best bet it to bu Pinball Arcade and Zen pinball on the PSN online store.

Both should easily fit on 12 Gigs.

Pinball Arcade has the same tables as Williams, but even more like Terminator, StarTrek NG, and more.

According to the online PSN store, the core game of Pinball Arcade is 442 MB and the entire season 1 bundle with all DLC tables to date is 908 MB. So like defdog says, if that's all you have on your 12 GB console, you should be good. Here are the online store links:

I'm not sure what the install file size for Williams Hall of Fame Pinball is, but you are much better off with buying the newest digital only version.

Thanks for the responses. For now I don't have an internet connection for a gaming system and I want to avoid it if possible. I feel more comfortable with a disc. I'll probably graduate to a PS4 and an internet connection in six months or so. That would be a good time to go the download way.

If the download game is less than a GB is it safe to assume that the disc load would be similar? Are there other considerations for 12GB? Does it take storage for game scores and? Does the 12GB flash memory act the same way that harddrive memory does?
