Has anyone played this yet? I am looking forward to picking it up tomorrow.

I got some good advice here to purchase God of War in digital format instead of physical to take advantage of cross buy. Any reason to purchase Borderlands in digital format? Will it still come with all the included downloadable content and the ability to cross-save if I purchase the physical version?

I started playing it. Not to far in. Never played Borderlands 1/2 before so its a whole new game to me. So far its alright. Sticks are a little sensitive for a shooter, for me at least. But so far no problems with me not wanting to play it.

The physical version only comes with the game and not the DLC. The DLC is included for free, but it is a separate 1.5 GB download. There is no cross buy with Borderlands 2, so you can save 3.5 GB on your memory card by buying physically. Cross save will work with either version once the PS3 patch is out.

Borderlands looks fantastic on the Vita but the sticks just feel wrong trying to control the game.

It wasn't a problem in either Killzone or even Call of Duty. Perhaps you just need to get used to them.

Kotaku's review said the controls were disappointing, given that Killzone Mercenary had demonstrated "it is possible to have better/decent first-person shooter controls on the Vita." So it sounds like the implementation for Borderlands 2 isn't as good as it could be, alas.

The reviews are mixed. I have read some good reviews and some not as good. It appears that it is a question of expectation. Those that compare it to the console version give it lower reviews while those that review without comparison are giving it higher scores. That seems fair if you are trying to decide which version to buy. I'm not going to be taking my PS3 on an airplane so I just want to know if the game works on the Vita. I did purchase it last night and will be playing it over the next few days.
