PS4 and old Samsung Plasma HP S5053

Been using various consoles with my old but gorgeous Samsung 50" Plasma HP S5053. However, now with the new PS4 the edges of the picture are being cut off. Something about "overscan" I was told. I don't see any settings on the Samsung or on the PS4 to fix this. Any suggestions? Has my old plasma finally seen its day? Thanks

To fix overscan, the settings need to be on the TV. Usually named "Just Scan" or "1:1 pixel mapping" or some such. If your tv is older, it might not have it.

What you have to do in that case is check on a game by game basis. A lot of games actually have a screen adjust, allowing you to change the sides a bit so you can get all of the picture into the screen, in case your tv has aggressive overscan.

Stand tall and shake the heavens...
