I have the same TV but I'm just looking for a good wireless BT headphone set that connects to my receiver or directly to my XBR4. I don't need the chat when I'm using headphones because I'm trying to be quiet as it is. Any suggestions anyone?

If not BT, can anyone suggest any other wireless headphone that is good with a PS3?

Hey guys,
I have a Motorola H500 headset but like I get the PS3 to recognize it and when I play COD4 I can talk and hear other people but it cuts down my connection to one bar. Like idk who here plays COD but if u hit select during an online game it shows your connection on the right of the pop up score menu and mine's usually full but when i hook up the headset it goes down to like one bar or sometimes none.. but when i shut off the headset it goes back up. Anyone know what I can do?

I am having the same issue with my Moto H700, and it started right after the most recent update. I have had the exact same experience in Resistance and Warhawk. Also, it connects and works in the PS3 chat right up to the time when another person enters the room and then it cuts out. This has been my biggest frustration with the PS3. Various updates have messed up the functionality of various bluetooths. I know have 2 BT125's (got the second one when I bought Warhawk), a Moto H500, a Moto H700, and a Moto HS850. Sony did this before with prior updates......maybe they will fix it with the next update.

The BT125's continue to work, but they are the worst of the bunch, they pick up much more background noise and have no mute feature. I also find them to be uncomfortable. I like the H700 because you can just flip the boom and you know if it is on or off. Also, it picks up a lot less background noise and you can mute the mic really quickly. No such luck on the BT125's. Course, it is the BT125's that continue to work.....

I just found the jabra bt-135 at a store around the corner for 19.99 then comes with a 10$ mail in rebate. Even if they dont send me the 10 bucks back, still seems like a good deal.

I guess i'll run out in a few min and pick er up. Now in my car i can be like all those people i made fun of 2 years ago with those stupid things attached to their ear...

Does anyone have a headset that works with both a SonyEricsson w580i phone and the ps3? I'm guessing most should, especially a Sony BT headset, but you never know...

Actually it's been proven that mobile phone tech and Bluetooth has no effect on the human body (excessive usage in high traffic areas has the effect of raising body temperature by a fraction of a degree in centigrade, but the body is more than capable of coping with that). Anyone complaining their phone is killing them is actually suffering from pcychosomatic symptoms - making it up until they really get ill. Bluetooth is just radio. It's like holding an FM radio next to your head. Radio waves have been around for decades and have had no effect on people.

Also, I have a Bluetrek headset, unsure what model number, and the PS3 doesn't even pick it up. So I need to get another one. I might get a Motorola.

I have a bluetrek mini and it works fine. I also have a Jawbone and it works well too, but overall for BT phone use it is way overpriced and doesn't do what it is supposed to do.

Has anyone tried out the Logitech Cordless Vantage headset for the PS3? I bought the Madcatz BT headset at the local gaming store since it was the only BT headset they had... and it is horrible. I have been looking in to getting a good headset, and this looks like it has everything... but after the Madcatz constantly disconnecting, having to re-sync every time, etc. I wanted to get some opinions before another purchase.

This is the one:

I have the Callpod Dragon Bluetooth headset. It has some awesome features:

-Class-1 Bluetooth - which the PS3 is also.... you can be as far away from your PS3 as you want, up to 300 ft.

-Dual mic noise suppression

-Can pair to 2 devices at once, ie, ps3 and cell phone.... if i get a cell call, i can hit the button to switch over and answer it!

its awesome!

Not that one. I would stay away from Motorola headsets for the ps3. There are alot of issues with that brand and the ps3. I got my Jabra on e-bay. I paid $8.00. If you look around, you can usually find it for $19.99 on sale at online retailers, and BB or CC sometimes.

I have both and they both work, but they constantly need to have the connections re-paired with the ps3 in order to use them. Sometimes they are very clear and sometimes they have lots of distortion. Also, have craptastic battery life imho.

More than likely not. the 40gb ps3 had the EE chip removed so unless the sony coding ninjas can get software emulation working on cell, it's not gonna happen.

I'd have to recommend the Plantronics Voyager 310 (or a number close to that). You only have to sync it to the PS3 once, then never again. I think I'd go nuts if i had to do it every time i turned the PS3 on and off...

Plus it's comfortable, sounds good, and charges fast.

gah. i just got a Jabra BT2010 and as soon as it registered, my controller stopped working! so i can only use the controller plugged into the usb cable.

and i can't get the ps3 to connect to the jabra. the light just blinks, or i can turn it off. also if i try to talk in the audio settings i get nothing on the meter, its black.

i can't delete the bluetooth device because it can't connect to it. and so then i can't get my controller back.

pretty frustrating.
