I use a Moto H390 ... it's cheap and works fine.
However I don't use it as a headset, I only use it as a mic... for a number of reasons:
1) I usually wear headphones when I game. 'Nuff said - I can't put a headset in my ear when I'm wearing headphones...
2) Comfort - I don't like the feeling of a headset in my ear-hole. I don't like ear bud headphones, either. Personal preference, I guess.
3) Sound - I have a nice HT setup, I'm not about to put something in one of my ears that will muffle / distort / soften the sound of my speakers. Audio is such a big part of games these days that I just don't understand why people put something in their ear that will lessen that audio experience. Especially in the competitive world of online gaming, it seems like an instant disadvantage if you can't hear someone creeping up on your flank because you have something in your ear.
So I usually either rest my headset on my chest, or I just place it on the table in front of me (if I'm playing in my usual leaning-forward position)... And I plan to glue a clip to the headset so I can simply attach it to my shirt / lapel.
