Hi All,

OK so I purchased Elder Scrolls Oblivion for the PS3 and really enjoyed playing through all the challenges and side quests. I was eagerly awaiting the Shivering Isles expansion pack on the PSN, However it heard that this is only available as a complete purchase of the "Game of the Year" Edition for 60$ !!.

Wait a minute, I already purchased Oblivion for 60$, and the 360 version had a download available for 20$ to upgrade the existing version.
Why should I have to purchase a whole new game, just for the Expansion??

Does anyone have any news or comments about this, anyone in the same boat?

Thanks for reading,

Cheers - Muttley.

I'd also like to add that this game ran smooth as butter on the PS3, has better draw distance that its "rival" version. And i think Bethesda Put alot of love into making this truely awesome RPG. Electronic Arts Gaming Division Take note! :-)

GOTY editions are usually cheaper. Maybe you'll get it for only $30 or so. I have it on X360 and the Shivering Isles are great.

Well its 59.99, due out in September http://ps3.qj.net/Elder-Scrolls-IV-G...g/49/aid/99304 . I just wanted the expansion pack available to download on PSN, like the X360 version.

I dont want to pay 120$ to play all of the Elder Scroll's. After shelling out 60 bones last time around (which was well worth it!)

Anyone else this this is a bit ...err rough! :-)

The expansion will probably appear on the PSN sometime after the GOTY edition. I doubt they'd put it out before then.

Bethesda loves GoTY editions. I have never head anything about Shivering Isles making it to PSN, only about the GoTY editions coming to PS3/360.

I'm tempted to re-buy this game. I bought it when it originally came out, but I never got very far into it, and traded it in when I could still get $45+ in trade for it.

But, with this new edition coming out with the expansion pack, I might have to give it another try.

Shivering Isles was $30 (2400 points) on Xbox Live not $20.

Shivering Isles was good, but not worth paying $60 for.
