I was looking for any suggestions someone might have for a decent cheap surround system I can use for a 2nd setup.

I plan to play my PS3 and 360 upstiars on my computer desk with my new "1080P monitor. Any recommendations for a decent cheapish surround sound system I could buy for this purpose.

Im not sure if HDMI systems are available in this range yet.

The Logitechs above, or a refurbished Onkyo from shoponkyo.com

The Logitechs will give you more punchy sound and is more compact, the Onkyo will give you more inputs and options.

Do you plan on running two sets of surround sound speakers in the same room? It will get muddled. I have been thinking about this for a while. I am currently using an old amp with headphones for the 2nd set up. Turtle beach have some headphones that combine the sound and the voice chat. It is a surround emulator type. I do find that normal headphones have a somewhat confused sound because of the surround info going to the main headset.
