When hooking up my xbox 360 is there any lost of audio info. between HDMI and toshlink? I have the option of hooking up an HDMI directly to the TV and then hooking a toshlink to my AVR. Or hooking up HDMI to my AVR then from my AVR to my TV.
I just use the 360 for games not movies.

Shouldn't be a bit of difference in HDMI audio vs. Toslink audio. They're both 100% digital. For ease of switching inputs on your TV and receiver, I would just do HDMI to receiver, and HDMI from receiver to TV.
