hey,

Perhaps someone can help. I am building a new house, and in the cozy living room I plan on hanging the highly regarded Sammy 52 inch 120MHZ LCD over my fireplace. The viewing distance will be 12 feet which seems to be ok.
Regarding it being over the fireplace I will have it on a mount that can adjust downwards. Is this a pain to enjoy countless hours a week gaming on. I don't want sore neck syndrome. This TV is pretty much for gaming and having the kids not fight over one TV. May also hook up a computer moniter.

Thanks

Thank you. I think the key is to have a mount that allows the set to point down when viewing.

Seems to me it would depend on how you're sitting. If you're gonna have your neck craned up looking at it for hours on end you're gonna end up at the chiropractor.

Always remember: The pessimist is never disappointed.
