Hi. I just got an Xbox and am trying to figure out how to share my one optical jack into my home theater system with my tv (i.e. both tv and xbox opticals going into the one optical in). I've looked around at various optical splitter/switchers and have read that you can't have both devices on at the same time or else the signal will be too weak. Can anyone speak to this and/or provide guidance/solutions?

I haven't heard of that being an issue.

There's auto-sensing and manual switches. Monoprice (a forum sponsor) has a manual switch for $6.34:

Reviews seem to be positive. I don't think you'll have an issue.
