I was wondering which gaming system is the best to integrate into my current home theater setup. I want something that's also an media extender for my computer, has excellent DVD playback, does HD and has the highest quality games. I personally prefer games like splinter cell and ghost recon although I'm used to playing PC based versions.

If you have a Windows PC Media Edition, then it's a no-brainer, the Xbox 360.

I would say the Xbox for now, personally I think the PS3 will become better once more games come out. The launch titles really weren't impressive. But if you wanted to integrate it with your computer and that happens to be a PC running Windows then Xbox 360. Of course that is only my opinion and I don't want to start a flame war!

I think it is a tough question right now. The most convenient would be the 360 right now...but it also has been out a lot longer than the PS3. I think next year at this time it will be a more difficult decision to make.

PC for gaming and media storage. PC with the 360 HD DVD addon can play HD DVD movies too. For a console...360 since it has the better games for now and it also plays HD DVD movies with the addon.

You do not stop playing because you get old...

PC and Xbox 360. Wii has the most innovation and fun factor with the unique controller.

I just got my PS3 last weekend and can honestly say that, even though I was very hyped to get a new system, the 360 is a far superior system for gaming purposes at this time. This is especially true for media center-type applications.

X360. Besides, Gamespot and Gametrailers has shown that the X360's graphics are better than the PS3.
